"You're an ape, but you can talk!"
"And you're a human with wings! Reality holds surprises for everyone!" Spot on. I always liked the lines. Your turn Ibby.

Well, color me surprised - I had thought the wedding sticks were a Titanian tradition because they appeared at the wedding of Tenzil Kem to Saturn Queen. I had the same thought. I thought about answering with that anyway, as that's the only scene I could remember with any Bgztlian weddings.

Well, color me surprised - I had thought the wedding sticks were a Titanian tradition because they appeared at the wedding of Tenzil Kem to Saturn Queen. Tom and Mary seem to have gotten confused by the fact that they originate in the Murran spies story in which Garth/Imra and Jo/Tinya both have fake weddings, and switched the wedding sticks from Tinya's homeworld to Imra's. I suppose one could suggest that the publicity surrounding these weddings may have spread the tradition from one culture to the other.

The most perfect burger I've ever eaten was at a little independently owned fast-food establishment in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador (a fair distance south of Quito, where I lived.) Here's the embarrassing part: I can't remember what this humble little eatery was called!

Some of my character's supporting cast have powers. My character did appear in the Crisis on Infinite Earths maxi-series.
I think I'm overdue for one of these (most of my recent posts have been from my phone, which does not make this easy)...new page recap:
Debuted prior to the Crisis on Infinite Earths, but after 1970. Generally considered heroic. Does not have powers beyond those of a normal human being. Originally from the Earth-1 universe. Not part of a hero team. Has adventures in what I would consider a colorful costume, which is military gear of a sort; some might disagree with calling it a costume. Uses what I would consider to be a hero-type code name, though some might disagree with calling it a code name. Identifies as male. Has appeared in his own self-titled comic, but did not debut in it. Not a doctor of any sort. Has in his personal history been a member of some sort of armed forces group, but not so much so during his depicted adventures. Uses a name that includes a military rank that is not Captain, though that does not necessarily mean a rank that is used in the American military. From the United States of America. White. Did not meet another super-hero in his first appearance. Adventures take place during the era in which they were published. Did not first appear in a backup story in another hero's book. As far as I am aware, has not appeared since Flashpoint. Did not make a habit of interacting with any other particular super-heroes other than dedicated members of his supporting cast. Some of my character's supporting cast have powers. My character did appear in the Crisis on Infinite Earths maxi-series.
