A Barreto issue was one of my early US comics. The one with the ants. There was an old computer game called Ant Attack around too.

Durant is an ant Pokemon. As a certified dad-joke practitioner, I have to inquire: Does that mean there's an uncle Pokemon?

Durandurancula -- they have to be vampires to still be going so far past their sell-by date (and I'm a fan of a lot of Duran Duran stuff, including their 1992 comeback singles.)

Kwicky Koala -- not as bad as most other Hanna Barbera cartoons from the late 70s/early 80s.

I still kind of like Mutley.
"Wake up there, Mutley! You're dreaming again. You're not Robin Hood, And you're not Gunga Din. You're not a brave knight, Or a king who's been crowned. You're just plain old Mutley The snickering hound!"

One of my uncles laughs like Muttley. So all his siblings call him... Muttley.

I've always liked Muttley's laugh, and also his impish facial expressions.

The only upside of having bronchitis for weeks that one time: during my recovery, my laugh finally sounded like Mutley's without me even trying.

I think I do have one collage with hunks of a 1950s V-8 Ford engine in it. If that counts.

Hee Hee!(This collage does have some blink-and-you'll-miss-it nudity, hence the offsite link.)

I must've blinked. Nothing that further research won't help with.
