I sort of suspected from Bendis's comments speculating that they might pick up after Future State rather than go back to a continuation of vol. 8 that there would be a delay. I wonder if we'll actually get a vol. 9 in a few months?

Usually there's an announcement of cancellation, and his enthusiasm sort of indicated the book's not over. I'm guessing he's just busy with Justice League.

They're bringing the TPB out fairly quickly for DC.

Regarding the DC Through the 80s, I'm surprised at the choice of LSH #298, it wasn't a particularly special issue - unless they chose it for the Amethyst preview.

For 50 quid, I'd want DC to print me my own random selection of '80s comics. Ambush Bug's continuity issue would be in there for a start.
