Hint time: This is not about an adventure they shared or anything like that. It is about something that is common about these characters in terms of Legion and Legion related comics.

I was thinking either members or counterparts of members of L.E.G.I.O.N. but you are even more correct that they all had relations (although Strata/Blok was only done as last female/last male in FYL dream sequence.) a wasted opportunity, that story. Not happy that Kinetix became a zombie either. Andy's power changes were never explored or explained, except for one panel showing her having light powers.
The best thing that came out of it was Brainy getting internalized force field powers. Not that he needed it to be formidable, but DnA especially showed him using them really creatively. Like creating a whole bunch of force fields to reflect a cascade of blaster fire back at the source...
Okay...
I am thinking of 7 Legionnaires.
