I think more happens in the description for #7 than happened in the first three issues!

I guess this a bit of a test to see if old Legon outsells new Legion. Lightning Saga undercut the last hard reboot (the Threeboot) and I wonder if could happen again?

I like what I have seen of 5YL. I know the tone of the story is unpopular with some fans, but I like that they were trying new ideas.

I saw this in the shop a week ago. Read it? I couldn't lift it?! smile

It's massiveness is matched only by its ridiculous price tag. ?120 ($153!). DC clearly love this volume. That's why they market it using a cover that's not by the main artist/ creator. That's why they use characters on the cover that miss the point of the Five Years Later opening arcs.

I see that a week after it was ?120, the online version of that store has it discounted at ?82.80. The blurb only mentions the comics contained in it. For that kind of price, I'd be expecting some major text pieces to accompany it.

I preordered it from DCBS, with a 50% discount. I'm interested to see if the text pieces in the back matter of most of the issues makes the collection. I'm not expecting the lettercols, but those were a big part of the experience with the original 5YL run. While I'm disappointed with the cover choice, I'm looking forward to having it in my hands; It's listed as being in my next shipment.

I never even considered that they might *not* include those. It would be a major goof if they didn't. Which, considering DC, wouldn't be a surprise...

They were considered to be art pages thanks to TMK making sure they had Omnicom borders etc. It would be a major boner if they weren't included.

For the money, I'd have liked some new text discussions of the contents. Instead, it's likely to have been churned out.

I do remember when I purchased them on Comixology a few years back, there was the occasional missing text page, but hopefully they'll do a better job on this.

Wasn't one of them a review of Tenzil's TV show? How could that be missed out?

I'm pretty sure that was included. There were just a couple that I had noticed had obviously been left out.
