I'd laugh out loud if Ayla's got a twin *sister* and there are both a Light Lass *and* a Lightning Lass in the Legion...
Or it be some high-concept intentional thing, like she's quantum-entangled with another Ayla from a different continuity, and sometimes she's Light Lass and sometimes she's Lightning Lass, and *nobody else notices.* (Or everyone notices, and it's been going on so long that nobody even comments on it anymore, other than maybe to snarkily point out 'we could sure use the other one, right now,' or it's a recent development, and a symptom of some sort of multiversal weirdness going on and a sort of in-joke on the many different versions of Ayla that already exist out there, and maybe she'll appear in one of classic, reboot, threeboot or Superboy's Legion looks for an issue...)
I always figured that the whole Ranzz family was an anomaly on a world where everyone else has an identical twin. I mean, identical twins are a genetic occurrence, while fraternal twins, as Garth and Ayla would be, are just a coincidence that eggs from both ovaries were fertilized at around the same time. So, if you think about it, all three Ranzz siblings, at least in the old continuity, were really singleton births.
The Ayla in the Light Lass uniform has some glowy jagged energy around her hands that looks a lot more lightning like than anything else so maybe even the artists are confused.
So does Tinya's halo expand to form a bridge between the two dimensions that she can climb through? Does that mean she can no longer phase through other objects and people but just step through from one dimension to the other? Or perhaps if it is small reach through?

Was wondering about this. Is she now a hybrid of Tinya and Gates or Veilmist? I'd rather have Gates in there as a separate Legionnaire myself though

No. It's just marketing because GDS is a well-known story and they can sell what are often considered lesser stories like "The Space-Circus of Death!" by linking them to them.
No idea of what that is and searches come up with nothing. Want to elaborate?
Nevermind, Greg Guillory posted about it to the Legion groups on Facebook -
