Remember, for all her talent and independence, Lois Lane still wanted Superman to marry her more than anything else in the 60s.

Future The Present is Past Joined: Jul 2003 Posts: 7,161	One thing I find interesting about Lydda's 60s-esque origin is that, unlike Lois Lane, it seems to withstand the test of time/reboots. I actually like having a heroine with that set-up, though I'd love to see more reactions to the development. What did/does her father think of all this? Did any of the other Subs have secret Legion crushes they'd confide to her about, etc? Her look that had the most variations was definitely the 80s one designed by, I believe, Steve Lightle. It went through a number of accessory, color, and sleeve changes over the decade. I actually could have made more micro variations of the look, but decided that may be excessive.

Anyway, some notes and updates: - FIRE LAD has been updated with an additional five micros. - The Subs have been completed. CHLOROPHYLL KID, STONE BOY, COLOR KID, PORCUPINE PETE, INFECTIOUS LASS, URK, ANTENNAE LAD, DOUBLE HEADER, RAINBOW GIRL, KARATE KID II, COMET QUEEN, RON KARR, and SADE have been added. - I did not include characters like Grinn or Universo, who may have assisted the SUBS at times Five Years Later but never technically served with them. Visi Lad is absent but will be forthcoming with the Academy students. - I am missing some pin-up/promotional shots which may have had different looks or colorings for the SUBS. - The total number of micros in the archives has rocketed to over 1100 now. - The table of contents on the first post has been expanded to feature several teams which have begun to form, like the Legion Academy and LSV.
