This summer anthology special issue will feature several stories and one of them is Superboy, starring the Legion of Super-Heroes, in "Summer Lovin" by Liz Erickson, Nik Virella, Romulo Fajardo Jr. and Ferran Delgado! Here is a preview of the different stories in this special including the one featuring Superboy, starring the Legion of Super-Heroes: https://aiptcomics.com/2020/06/26/dc-first-look-dc-cybernetic-summer-1/

OK, so a throwback to the old Adventure days with the original Superman-as-a-boy-Superboy. Wonder what any new readers (I ope there are some) will think of that.
Looks like it will mostly be about the Superboy robot (not?) coping with the mess Superboy and the Legion have left behind so maybe not much Legion. Still has me intrigued though.
It seems like Liz Erikson has been mostly an editor. The only other writing credit I could find was for a Catwoman story in DC's recent Crimes of Passion anthology so no idea what to expect.

I'd be excited just to see a classic Superboy story! Whatever Legion grooviness we get is just extra!

I hope they add a little introduction just introducing the concept of alternate realities, blah blah... But yeah, I'm looking forward to this. The preview looks great, a touch of whimsy and some nice Silver-Agey elements!

Looks good. This is the second classic Legion story we've had this year. Maybe they want to keep that version alive?

I think this is part of a test to see which version sells better. I hope both versions sell well as I don't want Bendis's version to die for the same reasons the Threeboot did. The Legion needs new fans or else it risks becoming a relic of the past.

Lately, I had already been thinking that perhaps it's time that both Legion fandom and DC simply accept that the Legion's stuck in the past, and expand on that instead.
Still "Fickles" to my friends.

Yeah I haven't been enjoying the Bendisboot but if it gets killed off that only proves the point about DC not caring about the Legion.
