Isn't it Jo teaching Nura how to stuff a toy doll, in an enlightening vision of how gender stereotypes have been eradicated by the 30th century, and an insightful look into the two characters? Perfectly considered, as Nura has often been the most feminine of Legionnaires (but then again, she comes off more as a brainy vamp than the domesticated type, unlike perhaps Tinya or Luornu), while Jo is the typical macho man, so it was refreshing to see him do something so, well, feminine...
(I think it's important to give insightful answers linking the Legion to the wider social milieu and issues of our time)

Isn't it Jo showing Nura and the others the way with "Stuff It", after "Eat it, Grandpa!" was considered old and pass?.?
(I think it's important to offer an answer for each 'boot of the Legion, in order to support multiple earths.

Wasn't this from that alternate reality where Ultra Boy and Dream Girl were dating, only she cheated on him with Dag Wentim, and a crazed Ultra Boy murdered his rival and sent his remains to her as a "message" not to betray him again?
(I think it's important that we include possibilities that invoked modern darker "mature reading" sensibilities!)

Yes Thoth has it, "Stuff it" was the replacement for "Eat it Grandpa Ultra Boy was tired of how she treated him or rather didn't treat him as Deputy Leader after not only putting someone else in charge while she was away but then not even sending him to lead the rescue mission, so he oh so politely resigned.
I thought this one would be recognised pretty quickly but it was worth it for all the Elseworlds answers.

haha! what triggered my memory was remembering that Mordru made some interesting choices in his hostage taking... and I seemed to remember that his hostages weren't evenly divided between t he JSA and JLA
and if I remember right, he also held 5 Legionnaires hostage while sending 4 to do his dirty work... which I thought was weird, would have made sense to hold only 1 or 2 Legionnaires hostage while sending more to fetch his items...
anyway!
