I usually gloss over talk of the Bible, because every day my hyper-religious aunt and cousins quote Bible verses on our family group chat.

You should have seen the things they were sending when gay marriage was being debated in the Philippines.

Something else weird I've noticed about the attitude of contemporary Americans towards education is that if you suggest that schools should have classes on the Bible, you'll get an overwhelmingly positive response from a significant subset of the population, whereas if you suggest that schools should teach kids to read ancient Greek (which would, you know, let them read the New Testament in the original language), most of those same people would be vehemently opposed to teaching such a "useless" subject.

Rod Hull made a career out of having an emu puppet on his arm.

Be right back. Changing my username to "Rod Puppet." Because I have a constant need for the wrong kind of validation.

That emu! They can almost be as annoying in real life. I remember having a barbeque where we had to try and chase off this emu taller than me from trying to pinch a sausage!

"Sausage Pinch" would be an even better username than "Rod Puppet." sigh Decisions, decisions...

Predictable of me, I know...

It's especially advisable to avoid emus during their angst-y teenage years. Nothing worse than an emo emu.

EDE, lol LOL

Actually there is one thing worse than an emo emu: a grunge sponge.

With sponges, I think a brief soaking in a warm, weak vinegar solution is good for un-grunging them again.

Sadly, Emus love vinegar on their chips lessening vinegar being the solution to all problems.

I saw some emus on my trip to Australia in 2018. I wonder if I saw stile86 and didn’t realize it.

He turns into a were-emu once a month due to a curse over not giving that emu a bbq sausage.

I've never tried emu sausage, but I have tried elk sausage. It was okay.
