Careful with that ax! You might accidentally slice his body in half, leading to his becoming a half-robot cyborg!

I don't want to be the Asian Victor Stone! You know how racially-bent legacy characters fare!

As long as he's not the Validus with the Ranzz-baby retcon. I think Validus should have remained an enigma.

"It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma."
Could Validus be a descendant of Edward Nigma.

Green is my favorite color, so Riddler was my favorite as a kid! Okay, so I guess we have to mark Ibby down as Validus? Can't I be the Emerald Emperor???

Let me make it pur-r-r-fectly clear that my favorite was Catwoman as played by Julie Newmar.
She was also Susan "Siouxsie" Ballion's favorite as a child.

Catwoman is the reason I know what a catamaran is.

I learned the word "catamaran," and its meaning, from a Daisy Duck comic book story.

EC comics taught me how to resurrect the dead to exact revenge on bad people. Comics are very educational that way.

I thought that EC stood for Educational Comics. A Google check informed me that EC stands for Entertaining Comics.

Raymond Edward Johnson, host of the Inner Sanctum radio series, originated the trope of the campy horror host with tongue-in-cheek introductions filled with ghoulish puns, of which EC's Crypt-Keeper, Vault-Keeper, and Old Witch are classic examples.

Other examples include DC's Cain and Abel.

I did found it gorily amusing, how Cain kept murdering Abel over the silliest of things.

In the biblical story, Cain kills Abel because God played favorites.

Dave Sim went into a lot of depth in the back pages of Cerebus regarding biblical examples such as this. It was an interesting read, whether you agreed with his position or not.

There is a lot of freaky stuff in the Bible. Lot’s daughters got him drunk and had sex with him. Twice Abraham pretended Sarah was not his wife and she ended up married to a local king.

Yep true enough. Not too surprisingly the story does go on to show that God ain't all that pleased with their choices.

Next issue in Bible Comics: Boom! Boom! Boom! goes the Cosmic Huff, as people remind Yahweh that there are other pantheons they can pick from if he doesn't get his act together.
