Why, they allow me to perform vital surgery! So far, all of my patients were clearly too far gone to be saved, but one day...

From now on I will ask hamsters and rabbits all my arithmetical problems.

Bugs Bunny is the one to ask. He does all his multiplication with nothing but an old 1940s adding machine. Much to Elmer Fudd's chagrin.

The moth-suit of Arthur from the Tick is often mistaken for a bunny suit. He is also an accountant, so is presumably good at arithmetic.

Yeah, it was a scary for awhile, not the least because of a misdiagnosis and then it taking forever to figure out what was actually going on.

It was weird. It started out like I was having an allergic reaction to something for a day or two, then for about a week or so I started having weird aches and pains in my joints like I had the flu but without any other symptoms. Then I started losing movement in my face, and it got to where I barely speak or eat. So I went to the emergency room, it turned out my blood pressure was also crazy high, so they admitted me because they thought I was having a stroke. They kept me over night, couldn't find any evidence of a stroke, so they wrote it down as a TIA and sent me home with a doctor's appointment in a week. So I get home, and I'm still basically having the exact same problems, so I call the doctor and tell them I kind of need to see them much sooner. So I go there, they want me to go back to the emergency room, but I tell them to send me to a different emergency room because the other one didn't help, so they do, and I eventually ended up spending a week in a much nicer hospital about an hour and half away, while they test me for every disease imaginable from cancer to syphilis. They basically keyed in on Lyme disease as a likely candidate to begin with, but it still took about a week to confirm (they actually let me out of the hospital a couple of days before they had a definite diagnosis.) So, yeah, not something I want to go through again.

Fairfield County, Connecticut used to be the hub of the American cartoonist community, as detailed by Cullen Murphy (son of John Cullen Murphy, who succeeded Harold Foster on "Prince Valiant,") in his wonderful book "Cartoon County."

A lot of people hate the King Arthur movie "Excalibur." I beg to differ. It's not perfect, but it's a visual feast. And movies *are* primarily a *visual* medium.

It's certainly the type of song that gets a lot of reactions.

It's so weird watching kids react to things that were popular when I was their age, and realizing that to them my childhood is like stuff from the 1950s were when I was their age.
