My character could be described as a mer-person.

I know that Superboy fought a mer-person before... but I seem to be remembering a mermaid, not a merman.... hm...

I should specify...this character does have characteristics of both fish and of human beings...but does not conform to the classic "human upper body with fish tail below the waist" depiction of "mer-person."
