Now that the Legion news has been revealed, here's mine. We're going to have a fan table again this year at San Diego's Comic-Con and have several new freebies to give out to anyone that stops by and especially for Legion fans.
4 new books from our Legion Lore Fanzine series -
#3 from Oct 2018, celebrates the 50th anniversary of the updated The Origins and Powers of the Legion of Super-Heroes from Adventure Comics #365
#4 from Jan 2019, celebrates the 60th anniversary of the second Legion story from Adventure Comics #267
#5 from April 2019, part 1 celebrates the 30th anniversary of Legion of Superheroes v4 #1
#6 from July 2019, part 2 celebrates the 30th anniversary of Legion of Superheroes v4 #1
Plus, each full day Legion fans can ask for the Legion pin of the day -
Thursday will be Star Boy
Friday will be Duo Damsel
Saturday will be Phantom Girl
Sunday will be Brainiac 5
And we'll have a new 1" round button of Mike Allred's Legion to go with some of the other things we've given out in past years.
Wow! That all looks fantastic Nighty! Great job, and have a brilliant time. Will there be a camera so I can watch my favourite escalators again?
Not sure. I use my work laptop and our IT just started blocking our usb drives from transferring info (corporate espionage). So, I'll have to check if I still can.
For those members who want these books, but can't make it to San Diego, please PM me your address and if you want the whole series of Anniversary and Legion Lore books.
Oh, I just noticed the new character sketches behind the front items of art. Nice! Those 5YG Legion Lore fanzines are great too. (Spinner rack is always great)
"...not having to believe in a thing to be interested in it and not having to explain a thing to appreciate the wonder of it."
Yeah. I got a notice as an exhibitor earlier this morning. It was pretty much expected. I'm glad they are carrying over this years badges and slots for 2021. That was always my big worry.
2020 is going down in history as the weirdest year ever.
After checking things out on different computers, I think I tried to make the table too big for most screens (was trying to make it feel close up, but I think I'll dial it back a bit next year.
I'm working on an update for one of the other sites now. Hopefully, it'll be done tonight.
Very nice. I like the acknowledgement of the recalled comics. Also, I note that "Skeleton Lad/Lass" appears twice as Ferro Lad and Chemical King. Probably a good call until we get clarification (probably sometime in 2021 or so at the current pace).

Thanks. Yeah, I actually was planning this site for quite awhile, but was waiting for a little more info to be given. (The cover recreation was mostly done prior to the series coming out right after I saw that cover solicited).
The previews have mentioned Ferro Lad and I believe I saw mention of Chemical King officially too, but don't remember the source, but no pics of either. And then there's this atomic skull-like female? (we thought White Witch was male at first so, who knows) running around without a name.
Basically, I couldn't wait anymore and put in those placeholders. I plan to update as time goes on.
I believe Sook also said the skeleton was a completely new character, though he/she wasn't debuted with the other "new" Legionnaires last issue. Hopefully we'll know for certain by at least the Legionnaire spotlight issues coming up?
Fantastic job and a great checklist of the team to date! All the appearances, all the characters - including the two Invisible Kids. DC should have published something like this in the first issue.
I remember that, yes. Wish I could find the link... It's more than a little annoying that skeleton girl / guy wasn't included in the debut last issue, all they had to do was slip her into the cover or a splash page or something. I mean, it wouldn't have been much less than what Dr. Fate, Monster Boy and Gold Lantern got...
I bet! How busy was it? Baltimore was a LOT more crowded and busy that I expected, and that's a pretty small con focused more on the comic creators versus the Big Deal cons like SDCC

It was not crowded at all and most of the people who came never went to a comic convention before. The holiday weekend timing made it impossible to get any of the quality vendors that normally show up, so it was Comic-Con in name only.
Yeah Thanksgiving weekend is an odd time for a con anyway. It's normally in the summer right? So at least you won't have to wait as long for the next event, but I wonder how much online experiences like DC Fan Dome will impact these moving forward?

Happy Anniversary! San Diego's Comic-Con appears to be happening this year. And we'll have our table again.
As we've done for years now, we'll have several freebies for fans to enjoy. For each of the years since 2019, we've had our Fanzine series continue (see below for details) and each of the books will be available in printed form. You can see them online here - http://www.legionlore.com/
Our 1" round button this year is a portion of the group shot from issue #6's cover of the JL V LSH mini-series.
On each full day, Legion fans can ask for the Legion pin of the day -
Kabir bought the advance copy of Phenomena and got a few comics signed by Brian Michael Bendis during his brief stop here st SDCC.
He knows about Legion World and we provided him our current crop of goodies and he appreciated everything and was impressed we gave him our version of the flight ring. He tried to find one to give back. But promised to send me something in the mail.
What's the COVID protocol situation like this year? Was it pretty tight?
We had to wear masks inside everywhere. You had to show proof of vaccination + booster and/or a negative test within 72 hours to get a wristband. No mask or wristband = no entry.
Seeing Aaron was great, plus a few auxiliary members. Looking forward to seeing you and others in the future hopefully!

That's exactly how they handled Baltimore last year. We'll see about this October.

Didn't realize I was supposed to update this thread on our anniversary. A little late, sorry.
Due to increasing printing costs and the cost of living in general, this year will be my last 4 book Fanzine year. But, this year, I did add 4 more. You can see them online here - http://www.legionlore.com/
