The Dream Universe really dropped the ball on the Eryk / Cobie dream plotline that was bouncing back and forth for a few months. I haven't had a dream with an LMBer in it in forever! And we were building such momentum!

Perhaps you should have some of what EDE is having!

Maybe that will give us something else more awesome, like...

I feel like I'm missing out on all the awesome Ibby and Stalgie awesomeness. But how in the world do I catch up?

Is there a summary? Does part 2 start in a new thread?

That's a great idea! We should put a table of contents on the first page... the first bits of craziness started out as random, unconnected fumettis but we eventually introduced some discrete story arcs.

Stalgie and I are fixing up a table of contents!

I was platonic pal & confidante of Johnny Storm. He'd just broken up with his long-time boyfriend: Clark Kent. I took Johnny to the Chinese buffet to try and cheer him up, but we were both sad and just picked at our food.

Sorry. Delayed reaction. At least when the thrift shop's having its big sale on flannel we won't get into any fisticuffs.

nod There are rare cases, like with The Bionic Woman, where a spin-off is an even bigger success than the original. I say we should go for it!

I feel like I should remember who was in my dream but I don't. I know it felt like someone in authority (Charles Xavier-ish) complimenting me on a talk I was giving

Tuesday night - Something else else in a walled garden, where there were abnormally large slugs and snails. Then there were snakes. Nice weather though.

Wednesday night - Fighting through impossibly high hordes of skeleton things while being part of a system monitoring the event. Stuck in a isometric video game.

No doubt both were between all the fluffy light hearted dreams.
There were other people in the dreams. But who?

An ex-boyfriend (and now good friend) adopted a kid because I was moving to SoCal (and he lives in LA)

Also, an editor emailed me about word count on an article that's a month late. (While the article is technically late IRL, I didn't need the editorial nagging in my dreams)

I woke up, only to find that I was in a dream. That usually means what seems like hours of being trapped in a body that I know is asleep, completely unable to move despite trying to fight it. But I managed to force myself awake a few nights ago. It takes a lot of mental effort, but I am now feeling confident that I would be able to fight back if Universo takes over the world.

I had a Legion dream last night, where Team 20 showed up in present day continuity, having been there off-panel for "six years" ever since they'd got thrown back in time (never having got home), and then convoluted stuff I can't quite remember involving (more) time travel so that T20 Saturn Girl was also one in Rebirth.

My views are my own and do not reflect those of everyone else... and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thanks for finding and bumping this thread, Reboot.

Now I can share this in its rightful place:

Last night, I dreamed I was watching a documentary on a forgotten 1970s rock band who sounded like a cross between Genesis and Chicago.

There were ducks in the hotel corridor. At least three of them walked through the fairly plush red carpeting. Their webbed feet left dark impressions on the floor as they walked. They weren't tracking through dirt, the touch of their webbed feet created footprints of darkness that faded as the carpet pushed up after the ducks had walked past. Their tracks held the key to the investigation. The ducks began to turn into a room.
