85. Flash - Lucifer is striking & was my initial pick, but Flash is more interesting and looks like fun

86. Ghost Manor - worst cocktail ever & trashy witch girl takes it.

87. Green Lantern - the shadows, the thugs, the wallpaper, the flaming logo

88. Weird War - better image overall but I'm attracted to the implausibility of Wonder Comics

85. Flash. Much less of a pose fest. Reminder of the unusual relationship between hero and villains in that book.

86. Ghost Manor. For the reach that places the cup in the foreground. Not taken with the story guide though.

87. Green Lantern. Tough one. I like the curtains , bangles and imminent plot twist demise on Web. Lantern fights back with simpler but effective shadows and carvings. But Scott acting as an agent to counter fate for his friend makes for a more interesting story.

88. Weird War. A really tough one. I like lots of things on Wonder. But the bulk of the bikers on WWT gives them ominous weight. I quite like the colouring too.

85. Flash. That party looks way more fun

86. Ghost Manor. I want to blow my mind.

87. Web of Mystery. While I am a GIANT Alan Scott fan, I am way more into the circus psychic seeing her doom. The perspective, the monster - it works for me.

88. Wonder Comics. Ummmmm... I would so rock that outfit.

85. FLASH. Despite the fact that the Flash art style ins just not my cup of tea, it does look like a good time. I like the Lucifer art style, but the "man of wealth and taste" is a bit of a cliche.

86. Cheesy or kinda done? I'll go with kinda done this time. IRON MAN

87. GREEN LANTERN. That odd background grabs my eye.

88. WONDER as usual. Appreciate the lines and angles of Werid War though!

I've never followed Flash, just picked up info about him/the book as you tend to as a comic book reader.

Same deal with the Justice League, maybe I read an odd issue here or there. I decided to check out the Justice League cartoon when it premiered in 2001. It looked great, but I realized I was drifting off after a little bit. I didn't bother catching further episodes. Well...until I tried JL Unlimited some time later. THAT was fantastic! Standalones and building stories. Good stuff for old hands but also a good starting point for people new to the DCU.

I've mentioned before that Lash and I did some mutual Netflix watching. At one point in the fall of 2015 he wanted something light and fun, so I pulled out the funnier JLU episodes. This Little Piggy, of course! Child's Play. The Greatest Story Never Told. And, while not jokey IIRC, Flash and Substance. (I was impressed by the way the Flash interacts with Trickster...how a superhero cartoon addressed mental illness with compassion.) The picks went over well with Lash.

By the by, Saturday will mark 3 years since Lash's death.

89. Space War. Alyun: "Your planet has been removed and your fate decided!"..." Men: "Sorry? What?"... Alyun: "I said that your fate..."...Men:"Nope. Sorry. We can't hear you way down here. Could you maybe stop posing on that ledge?"

90. Tales of Suspense. Crumbs! That guy is going to be killed by the cauliflower before he can hide *any* of his sex toys! Nice try to save a book after the inker spilled something all over it over on unusual. See also Blott on the landscape.

91. Pink Panther. Extra gag points with the flower firing the water.

92. Master. Winslow never even thought to endanger a child by putting it into the torpedo. Wasted. Good 'ol Bulletfolk to the rescue!

89. Archie's Mad House. I generally feel like an alien at dances.

90. Tales of Suspense. The other cover looks like an ad for depression medication.

91. Pink Panther because I like pink.

92. Don Winslow of the Navy. I like his big torpedo.

89. Archie's Mad House - aliens are fun!

90. Tales of Suspense - maybe there is something to be said for Glyphosate. Does anyone blot their copybook anymore?

91. Pink Panther - better gag.

92. Master Comics - perfect flying form! But that sure is one shiny torpedo.

93. X-Force. Using the shadows of the cloak to better effect. Copra has a simpler style that doesn't look as polished. I'd prefer its contents though.

94. True Secrets. Both are angstless. The Lady on Lovelorn's cover has a distracting hat tied to her head that isn't Devo enough. Claws probably don't pop out of those gloves as Ewins would have had them. I'm left with the chance that the parasol on Secrets cover hides Beach Zombies...Of Space. When we say they're gone, we mean *gone* daddio!

95. Shutter. Both are well designed covers that would win a lot of match ups. I like the colours on Secrets. The figues overlapping on Shutter's panels gets the win. Secrets also loses points for the navel gazing story title.

96. Archer and Armstrong. Potential comedy moment. Archie is all message and no hook. The you'll be successful with girls too message is also a bit too obvious.

93. Copra - it just looks so strange; X-FOrce is lovely and more polished but Copra is unusual.

94. Lovelorn - rather dull, but I find the umbrella on True Secrets takes up too much space.

95. House of Secrets - tough call, but House wins for the abstract lower panel.

96. Archer & Armstrong - surreal restaurant slave work & funny pants. Archie is boring.

89. ARCHIE'S MAD HOUSE A good Earth-time had by all -- but the color job has to go!

90. UNUSUAL TALES. Movement, pose.

91. PINK PANTHER. Clever gag and the bright coloring job is practically a co-star.

92. MASTER COMICS. The arc help get it. Don't necessarily love the color scheme, but it's a bit unusual and interesting.

93. UNCANNY X-FORCE I'm not sure I love the pencilling style, but I want to see more of it. Does that make sense?

94. LOVELORN! It's the whole package. Make True Secrets looks kinda dingy, even though it's perfectly fine.

95. SHUTTER mostly because HoS just isn't my cup of tea.

96. A & A. Ha!!

More on the way, too.

So despite the fact that I had to get on our ol' buddy Lash's space-case to finish up -- the boy needed direction, sentients -- there is no such thing as too late here.

97. Daredevil. Nice sky

98. Batman. Someone is reminding Bats that Wayne investments are involved in all sorts of shady things. I prefer my Archie with less of a Hussy factor.

99. Chew. If that's a Key issue of Ruse then a key motif might have got some points. Just look up some JLA issues Ruse creators. Chew gets points for perspective, conspiracies, icky and funny.

100. Legion. "Get me killed in issue 3 will you?!" - Blok takes his revenge on Earth.

Elsewhere mankind, reverting to type, tries to claim ownership of vacuum to get some bragging rights. No wonder the rest of the galaxy wants nothing to do with them.

93. X-Force. Busting off the page over the seeping colors of Copra.

94. True Secrets. I want to be on a warm beach right now.

95. Shutter. Looks like 3 complete stories on the cover.

96. Archer and Armstrong. Worst job ever.

97. Daredevil. I miss the NYC skyline.

98. Veronica. Times like that I realize why I wanted to be her as a young lad.

99. Chew. How will they approach the ET?

100. Legion. Bye bye, this wretched Earth.

97. DRIFTER.

98. BATMAN AND ROBIN. Bats looks mildly annoyed yet not alarmed at flaming dollars, which is hilarious. But a shoutout to Veronica's Scrooge McDuck shoutout!

99. CHEW. The expressions! The lime green! The implied cannibalism --- HEY WAIT

100. LEGION. I need to do a TMK re-read.
