65.Omega Men - small figures climbing a giant one is fairly common, but this has some nice visuals and ZeroZero is kinda repulsive.
66. New Warriors - by default, the figures appear more clear than on All-Stars.
67. The Maze - something about the colours is different, and the mix of characters is intriguing.
68. Nurse Betsy Crane - very noir for a nurse story
69. Superman - happier picture; the metal cannon (?) on Action is sort of boring, although I'm attracted to the fried egg explosion.
70. Strange Worlds - favour the classic pulpy image over Jughead's joke.
71. Time for Love - it's a bit odd but I'm fascinated by that dreadful figure skating costume and the slogan "Time for swinging...time for dreaming"
72. Huckleberry Hound - based more on a dislike of the Howdy Doody character than an appreciation of the cover

69. Superman. Upbeat but mainly for the nice countryside detail.
70. Strange Worlds. Bendy ray gun effect makes sure that robot gets hit.
71. Girls' Love. Fairly angsty. The other one spends far too much dialogue speaking out at the reader.
72. Huckleberry. Howdy is really creepy.

70. Strange Worlds. The menace of robotic hordes and the fancy action beats the fashion emergency in the other one.
71. Girls' Love. Who hasn't been a stand in for love?

73. Akiko. I have a couple of Akiko issues. Lovely detail and I don't think there's any jokes around rod masters out there, is there?
74. Crime Fighting Detective. Decent sound effects on Spidey, but loses lots of points for another voyeur cape on a roof.
75. Giant Days. People hanging out and having fun. >gasp<
76. Whiz. Caps just subduing the shark, showing off to Glenda Gills I bet. Phantom is too stabby for no reason.

73. Akiko. A city on the head of some sort of repltile? looks cool.
74. Crime Fighting Detective. Spider-man looks fairly ordinary but Detective is a great display of golden age style.
75. Ultimate X-men. Really like the perspective on this. Nice to see something other than action on both covers.
76. Phantom. Cap looks like he is showing off, never really in any danger. Phantom is risking life and limb probably to save someone else. Also Phantom! (He is quite popular in Oz having been published continually by Frew (reprints) since 1942.)

74. Crime FIghting Detective - more exciting but I find both to be over-cluttered with text.
75. Ultimate X-Men - looks like a bomb is about to drop on her. Are those six beer cans on the ground? Curious.

74. WEB O' SPIDEY even though so-so. Over on CFD, where were that guy's feet just a step ago? Just does not work for me.
75. ULTIMATE COMIC X-MEN. You see her (who is that?) from the Medevac just as it's taken off. It's all over for her but the adrenaline. Now what? (Side note: I've heard enough good things about Giant Days that I'll give it a read when I come across it. But here X > Y. )
76. WHIZ COMICS has better art but it kinda looks like Cap is trying to strongarm lunch money. (And look, proto-Vooda!)

77. Popular Comics - different, in this day and age. Inspiring youthful deception. Young Skeezix. Racket Squad is just too unbelievable - the open briefcase, the two men just standing there, mouths agape - well, maybe not so unbelievable.
78. Bob Hope - not exactly hilarious, but happy cartoony look & I wonder what has happened to obliterate everything in Paris except the Eiffel Tower. Diablolical!
79. Ext. X-Men - more interesting visuals. Looks like The Face isn't going to make that jump, though.
80. Bean World - makes me think of a stomach virus but bonus points for Ben Grimm. Galactica less coherent with wild (?)missile track, but addition of cigarette on starfield face is good.

77. RACKET SQUAD IN ACTION. Even though I'm a little puzzled by the cop -- did he trip? And just naw to Popular Comics.
78. BOB HOPE. Sharper art, and hey, everyone's happy!
79. EXTRAORDINARY X-MEN. Very sharp. I think it comes across whether or not you know who the character is and what she can do. I don't like how the beam on Big Shot cuts the cover. And what moment is this capturing? How did he get exactly where he is? Where are they?
80. BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. Pleasantly weird mix. Beanworld also weird, of course, but that's kinda expected.

81. Life with Archie. The design of Planetary is an updated classic look. But the old Mystery in Space covers would offer more of a story hook. That's something Archie does and I like the varied reactions.
82. Thrills of Tomorrow. Perspective, peril and some time spent on the costume. Possible love interest/ savior below. The Worlds Finest story is the one where Robin takes that Bane stuff to outmuscle Bats and Supes. The Titans was really a rehab clinic.
83. Leading. Not much in either but Nero Fox is a cool name.
84. Rare Bit Fiends. I quite like the pencils on Scud. But why they're standing on a doll thing is unknown. The colouring is increasingly painful while trying to figure that out. Points for the detail on RBF.

82. World's Finest. Loving the concept. And Thrills just has weird proportions to me.

81. Planetary - that's a lot of big text, but I like the image of the ship entering the warp/Bleed - and the colours.
82. World's Finest - default win, I think they're just humouring Robin.
83. Leading - odd, but you've got to love "the jive-jumping emperor of ancient Rome" - and the pelican carrying the price tag.
