--is not a human being from Earth, but is a human-shaped being from another planet, albeit with powers beyond those of a normal human.
--is not female.
--is not a super intelligent robot who has a force field and utilizes a shrink ray to collect cities from various planets.
--has never lived in a shrunken city inside a bottle.
--does not normally wear a green uniform while being a hero and answering to some blue guys from Oa.

Does your character have the power of flight? Hmm... I'll give a qualified no to that. The character does not have the power of flight in the traditional sense, though an argument could be made for his having that ability in a very wide sense. Did he debut before COIE? Yes.
