The commission of Element Lad and Shrinking Violet by Rags Morales has returned from the framers. There are going to be three Legion themed pieces to create a grouping all by Rags. They were done in pencils.

I commissioned Jason Metcalf for these two (The Whizzer and Miss America) just prior to the Fan Expo Boston in 2018. They are from the Golden Age and can be seen in Marvel's Invaders, All-Star Squadron and The Liberty Legion comics. The Whizzer was also in Avengers. Sorry I do not have a digital high-resolution scanner. I used the "Noir" filter setting to compensate for the wash out I was getting off the iPad camera. They are done in pencils.

Crumbs! I almost skipped the Legion one as I thought the post was the Miss America & Whizzer one. Which is also really nice.

Here is the Rags Morales commission (one of three so far) of Element Lad and Shrinking Violet in their original uniforms unframed and unimpeded by the glare. I hope everyone enjoys this series as much as I am. Look for more commissions I have in the works from artist like Matthew Clark, Daniel Hdr, Buzz, Jason Metcalf and Jean Sinclair.

Always good to see one of the Legion's big gun characters. So powerful, that the Legion arranged with the UP to pretend she was rejected, just so she could then work as a UP agent.

No one in their right mind messes with Drura.

Meantime, the framer has completed The Whizzer and Miss America. I went with Whizzer's colors. But instead of the yellow being dominant and the blue be the accent, I reversed them.
