Is your character non human? No. My character is human does your character have powers beyond those of a normal human? No Does your character normally appear in stories set in the present day? Yes And I am going to give a hint here. My character only appeared in one story. However the one story is not just a middle of a series story like say Fantastic Four issue 239. Oh and the character does have a name and dialog. It isn't nameless police officer. Still, you may need to do some research as you narrow down who it is.

Update
A human male who has no powers and is not a hero nor a romantic interest for a hero. He does not live in Metropolis.
Is not Crazy Jane nor Evelyn Curry.
Hint: My character only appeared in one story. However the one story is not just a middle of a series story like say Fantastic Four issue 239. Oh and the character does have a name and dialog. It isn't like nameless police officer in third panel on page 9.
