105. BATMAN AND ROBIN! Fantastic lines and look at that green!
106. JLA
107. NIGHTWING.
108. MISTER MIRACLE. The maze doesn't read right to my eye but the path is not much. Scott gets it in a shrug.

109. Revival - the red lines linking everything are subtle and there's a good sense of the confusion the character portrays. The Spirit is rather dull for a Spirit cover. 110. Androids - like the transparency effect. The lovers look like they've all falllen asleep. 111. Batman Beyond - the background is mildly annoying but the central image with the two characters is interesting. East of West looks washed out. 112. Barbie - doesn't look like much of a story but great hair. 113. Magneto - it looks just confusing enough to suggest serious mind games. 114. Velvet - quiet and threatening. 115. Wonder Woman - well balanced, including the logo, like the way her hair bleeds into the background. Forgotten Realms makes me think of the dentist.

>sob< 109. Revival. Blast. I wasn't going to give it to anything with an incident room/board on it. Just part of the endless procedurals out there. But there's no detection required whatsoever on the Spirit cover. Revival wins for a pose of despair. 110. Lovers Lane. They should have picked a better name for Lois' big sister. Just look at the comic covers she ended up on. There's a nice central effect on DADOES, but it tells me nothing about the content. I'd read Lane just to see how much that lipstick smudged. 111. Bats Beyond. Concentric circles, twisty heroes an a similarly twisted villain. There's a flower and no content on the other one. 112. Dreadstar. Dreadstar has at least gone to some effort to make the body corpse like. There's the maiming of another character, but no background. Barbie has a nice wave effect. If you'd nto read Dreadstar, the scene would have less of an impact. it saves itself by having a small monkey creature on there. 113. Hex. Magneto's head has grown so large, it's break through cover symbols. At least the logo had the good sense to run while it could. Hex tells you exactly what you're gonna get. 114. Avengers. Tough one. lots of nice shading either side of Velvet, making that central vertical all about the character, and the logo. Spiderwoman has a bright central spot just behind the character, and an interesting character position. Avengers gets the win for using the edge of the cover as a surface for the character's feet. 115. Wonder Woman. By a mile. Not only is Swan taking up the central vertical third, her wings take up the central horizontal third. The transition of Wondy in one third, the supporting cast in another (while also being split across the central vertical) and the logo taking up the final one. Expertly designed, with great colouring.

109. THE SPIRIT
110. LOVERS LANE. For the green.
111. EAST OF WEST. The "Vertigo" Wordpress theme is cool, but perhaps overused. EOW stands out.
112. BARBIE FASHION. The water, and the space is filled better.
113. MAGNETO. Although I was strongly tempted for the other for the butt kicking, of course. And for referring to the villain with "quotation marks".
114. Both are excellent, which is why I was very pleased to match them and am very displeased to have to choose. The irregular web (s) background tips it for NEW AVENGERS.
115. WONDER WOMAN!! One of these is un-excellent, but I think you can see why I matched them. (Maybe?) And occasionally I put up a match where it seems like one would get all the votes -- but nope! ANYWAY, WW is a straight stunner. There's a lot going on, but put together so well you might find different things in multiple views. (I know I did.) The very limited color in not just the main image but all indicia/markings is fantastic.

The Vaulter had a sporadic early career, mainly due to his expertise being based on rooftop crime.

Top Choices:
Peanuts - not what I'd expect to see on a Peanuts cover, but it's Snoopy, so of course. And the dragon is beautiful. Bombshells - sort of Soviet style art with a romance comic vibe Astro City - lots to look at, but not cluttered or chaotic Avengers - Disney look, not what I'd expect for the Avengers (but maybe that's the style of art for that particular series) but it draws the eye in Crimes by Women - just because I'm baffled if she escaped from the pen in that dress Spiderman - very nice balance
Best Title: Racket Squad in Action - nice to know they're not just sitting around planning stuff, they're actively fleecing the public!
I'm assuming Amazing Fantasy is the rare & valuable one

Thumbs up on the Peanuts dragon from me, too. The Power Pack background color is great, especially with Julie Power's and Volstagg's colorful costumes. I like the Aztec Ace art, but I don't think the primary colored logo is doing it any favors.

Supergirl - Blackstarr's mom gives her a right telling off for wearing a cloak that reveals so much leg. A shame, as Blackstarr and Kara have been standing like that for half an hour so the cover artist can get it just right. The Beast should have a Mature readers only sticker just going by the cover. Aztec Ace looks lovely with the logo, moon and ace all central. I'll need to read some of that. Dale Evans #15 charts Dale's induction into the Invisible College, mentored by Uncle Six, who years later would be revealed to be the father of the Invisibles' Mister Six (the 'tache is a family heirloom). Agree with Cramer on Peanuts, and Astro City. Crimes by Women - The fools released her early, but she's only interested in busting out the rest of her gang! Oddly managed to hitchhike to the prison with an armful of guns. The Spectre - It's a little known fact, but your nipples vanish when you die.
