I was going to say that he was a statue in the Pocket Universe Superboy's basement, until I saw you say it wasn't a statue. But that leads me to think he would have been at the memorial service for the fallen Superboy later in the same issue/story?

Ooohh. Figures that Tenzil would be at a sad event, rather than a happy one. Not, actually...
I was going to guess that story where an insane Tenzil was nearly murdered alongside Brainy and Jan, but that was before Baxter. And poor Tenzil didn't have any lines then either, besides "Rarrrgh hurrr hurrr!"

...And poor Tenzil didn't have any lines then either, besides "Rarrrgh hurrr hurrr!" Tenzil impersonating an Ultra Energy Beast. He's such a kidder My next guess was going to be a look at Bismoll during the Magic Wars, as his planet suffered along with everyone else. Another chirpy, happy moment.

If insane people can make jokes I mean, if they're insane, is it still a joke? Then there was that story when Pulsar Stargrave invaded Bismoll.... kind of chirpy considering the other characters involved were the Subs, Eyeful Ethel and Tusker...

I’d rather not plunge the most insane villain ever into an existential crisis. people have been murdered for less ...

I...people have been murdered for less ... Or fondled. Murdered or fondled. Superman has a habit of encountering other lost souls who crash to Earth in rockets. But what name links one of these with a planet in the Legionverse?

I don't really understand the question. Are we guessing the name of the planet, the name of the lost soul who crashed, or the name of the rocket? Guessing: Brainiac?

It's a link between the lost soul (the person in the rocket) and a Legion planet.
And it's not Brainiac.

I think he met someone from Tharr in the 20th century, was that in a crashed spaceship?

I remember Valor working with people who would go on to colonize Tharr, but not Superman. Interesting.
I'll guess Colu...

It's not Colu. I think Chaim has nailed the story, and is very, very close with the answer. But it's not Tharr, it's...

Nope. Less of a subs connection and more something that sounds close to tharr.

Yay1 It was Tharn. Tharn was the name of Skyboy. Skyboy rocketed to Earth but suffered from amnesia. Could Skyboy actually have been behind a series of crimes?
Incidentally, Skyboy looks like a firm contender to be Superboy Prime in a Lost Tales of the Legion. He's got the armour thing going on too.
Over to you Ibby!
