It's insane how incredible these are. Were I wealthy, I would happily pay you whatever you asked to sculpt the whole team through White Witch... I realize the TMK members, "batch SW6" team and reboot-only members would cost extra

I'm having as much of the Cockrum/Grell era team done as I can ... Chameleon Boy is next, followed by Projectra and Karate Kid, then the founders.
I'll eventually do the rebooted versions as well.

Yay, reboot! These are great. (I think Tasmia's arms may be a little short/small for the size of the statue, but Dawnstar's look perfect.)

That's because of how she's facing in the picture, but Tasmia's arms are exactly the same size as Dawnstar's. ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Jesse321/Shadow%20Lass/IMG_0018.jpg)

Wow! Did you sculpt them in clay? How big are they? The detail is amazing!

They're made out of Super Sculpy, Wax and few other materials, they're about 1/8th scale (roughly about 6 to 7 inches tall) This is the base for Chameleon Boy that's being worked on now... ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Jesse321/Chameleon%20Boy/IMG_0208.jpg)

Thanks for showing Tasmia in a way that I could see her arms better! (It's been bugging me since I first saw her ~ but I didn't want to say anything because I didn't want to cramp such a talented artist's style!) And you're right, they're fine. Cham already looks incredible.

For the record, I designed all of these, but all but the Ferro Lad were sculpted my Jim Maddox for me ... I did the Ferro Lad from spare parts that I had laying around.

Thanks everyone ... I intend to keep going until I have a REALLY large selection of the Legion.
When I paint Ferro Lad, I'm going to do a regular version and a powered up version ... I found some special paints that modelers use to paint airplanes and metallics that I'm dying to try out.

Yet another great one! Ferror looks awesome. Classic Silver Age costume yet rugged and daredevil-y, like he was in SW6.

These are so good, Jesse, that they should be DC Direct offerings. How would you go about doing that? It seems to me you should be able to make some serious money from these.

make me wanna buy that full size Dawnstar!!!! It would look great on my desk where I can see it every day!
Can't wait to see how Cham will look like when it's complete.
How long does it take you to work and finish one sculpture? I am just curious.

The sculpture itself usually only takes about a week or so once i really get cracking on it ... now to transfer it from wax to resin so that it lasts, that takes about another week. Here is Ferro Lad being molded ... ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Jesse321/Ferro%20Lad/IMG_3033.jpg)

The angles of the arms are quite similar to those of Shady's arms from the bust on the first page. Perhaps they were being cast at the same time?

Nope ... that's the sash for a Phoenix sculpt that I was working on. ![[Linked Image]](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Jesse321/Phoenix/Pics6052360524.jpg) But Projectra is coming soon.
