Love the detail on the Sensor Girl micro, Future! Awesome work!

Love the detail on the Sensor Girl micro, Future! Awesome work! Thanks, K.K.! Sensor Girl is visually one of my favorite Legionnaires. I enjoy all her looks.

^^My favorite Legion era (well, pre-Conspiracy, at least.) Great work, Future. Beautifully done.

Brilliant Future. So many personal favourites in the recent posts. I'm very impressed when you take the time to do posts like the trial outfits (Tinya & Dreamy personal favs from that issue) and the fan outfits too.

Thanks, Fanfie and thoth. This is one of my two favorite Legion eras. So much going on and you really watch these characters grow for better or worse.
There were a few other instances where a lot of the team was gathered in casual wear, but the Trial jumped out at me for all the distinct looks. The Trial of Brainiac 5 is actually one of my favorite Legion issues ever, so there may be bias there.

Interesting that you like the lower key repercussion issue of the big #50 before the likes of the big Magic Wars, Future.
I liked it because the all the characterisation of the cast Levitz built up really pays off when they have to make a decision key to the Legion's heart. Oh and the Polar Boy/ founders outlooks on the issues were really well done.
Did a couple of the costumes come from that v4 flashback issue where they dealt with Black Dawn? I'm thinking of Dreamy and Star Boy?

I included those two because quite frankly there's nowhere else to put them. Even post-Black Dawn in v4, Dreamy and many others had different costumes by then.

I'm glad you got to put in two different looks.
I suppose there's a Five Year gap iteration where Nightwind, Atmos, Impulse, Echo and the Subs join. I think we know more about that from the Mayfair sourcebook than the comic right enough.
I remember the Sun Boy flashback to that period though. Since it was through his distorted, agonised memories, a lot of the costumes regressed. Polar Boy's was back to his original, I think, to symbolise his early cheerleader role. So, perhaps not mileage from that one. I think there was a decent Impulse costume in that issue though.

I saw Future's name on the homepage beside this thread... A little pause for breath. Don't get my hopes up... Like all good pressies I left it to last to check. So many new entries! I can't wait to have a much closer look later but this is just superb. Deaged Ayla, Sun Boy/Drake, All the v4 Legionnaires! Nolan of the Mordruverse! The post Black Dawn Legion! James Cullen! Legion on the Run! *So* Much goodness (there should probably be a health warning posting more than a couple of these up at a time )

Thanks, thoth. Glad you enjoy these. Sorry it's an overwhelming amount in one post. I would love to post these as I finish a single team. My OCD prevents me! I want to keep the eras grouped together without comments between them for smooth navigation for anyone clicking through the links on the first post.
I had actually intended to do more team shots from this era from one-off storylines or annuals, but it was already becoming a handful. 154 unique or modified micros.
While I include the Mordruverse here, I won't do that for every "Elseworld." Some I will if they're story-appropriate, like the 1940s and 1950s Legion of the Postboot. Others, even if they took place in a time range like the "Legion of Oz" annual here in v4, I'll save for when I do an Elseworlds push. Yes, there will be an Elseworlds push! Probably after I do the Rebirth teams (I'm sure they'll debut by the time I get there...).
I'm enjoying doing team shots versus individual characters this time. It takes longer than I could have suspected, but the shots are fun. ...plus once I -do- go back and do character posts, I can be far more thorough faster.

I want to keep the eras grouped together without comments between them for smooth navigation for anyone clicking through the links on the first post. Overwhelming in a very good way I've been doing Christmassy things tomight (Bah!) so I've just been popping in and out. But every time I do I just see more attention to detail. All the little variations on those V4 costumes, Kono's hair, Drura, Laurel Gand's various costumes and Celeste as a Darkstar. and on and on... I'm glad you're enjoying doing the team shots. I like seeing the individual progressions too, but there's something nice about seeing them all together through the iterations. While I include the Mordruverse here, I won't do that for every "Elseworld." Some I will if they're story-appropriate, like the 1940s and 1950s Legion of the Postboot. I'm glad you added the Mordruverse. It was a particularly good story and briefly part of the continuity I guess, more than a lot of the Elseworlds. Besides, there was something special about seeing Mr Nolan being the hero there. Super to see Nightwind in the post Back Dawn line up. They weren't shown often, so your attention to completion is appreciated. I had just peeked at the thread yesterday, so it was an extra treat to see an update today.
