...also started thinking that maybe it's time I go back to art school, but I don't mean cartooning. I mean the fine arts. I got some serious encouragement yesterday from a party whose opinion I deeply respect.

I'm one of the lucky ones who have always had close family or friends around at Christmas. I can only imagine how horrible it would feel not to. Best wishes all.

...learned there are two Harry Dresden books coming out this year, which lifts my spirits.

...am wondering if they're gonna' fix the bobble in my personal copy of the office's proprietary software which led to (nearly) ALL my work from last week being useless and subsequently pitched out by my supervisor.

I mean, they know it's not my fault and I still get paid, but... Great Caesar's Ghost, People! C'mon!

...worked on my latest fan art project, a homage to the cover of "All-Star Squadron" #59, the one with Mekanique in the foreground and the faces of many Golden Age heroines and heroes in the background.

Only in my version, it's Ultron in the foreground, and the faces of 20 Avengers in the background.
