Got to fooling around with this and thought it would make a great cover image, so here's what i came up with.

Here's a cool image from Kat's Moy Sketchboard . Fire and Ice, drawn by the moy Brothers. Jeff Moy drew Fire, and Phil Moy drew Ice. Alls I did was slap some crappy color on it...

Would you kill me if I replace the main image with the black and white with this color one, or would you just like it as a link under it?

I've looked at all the pics in this section, and have to say I'd hate to have to choose the best. Lots of real nice stuff here.
(Although I DO have a preference for a certain white-winged female.)
Also, I do a bit of drawing myself, but not of LSH characters. Is there any particular place I might TRY posting them? (A few are M rated)

I'm not sure what you're asking baycent. Are you asking about where to host pictures for posting here? If so, check out this thread for some suggestions of free webhosting services. Once you have them hosted somewhere, just start a thread and post your stuff.

If you're asking whether or not it's okay to post non-LSH stuff here, I assure you it is. I'm sure there are many here who'd like to see your work, whether it's LSH-related or not.

As far as the mature stuff goes, it's not really appropriate to post it openly on the board, but it is okay to post a link to such stuff, as long as you give a warning about what lies at the other and of the link.

Seems like you improve with ever pic loser.
I really like the effect you got on saturn girl's hair (and supergirl too). Is it a filter, a special brush, or a hand done effect?

Basically, what my posting is, is a bit of ego-boo. Actually, I was wondering if anyone might be interested in seeing a bit of rather ADULT artwork (NO X-rated stuff, though.)

Lou, thanks a lot for posting this. The idea came from Fat Cramer a LOOOONG time ago. I tried to depict several different types of women to represent the best female minds of Colu. The colors are vivid and well done. I love it!

My dream sketch come true! Thank you Dean & Loser! I love that they're different ages, shapes and ... well, looks.

I still have that drawing of Sharn Nux and Brainiac 4 somewhere....

Lots of good work. Really nice on the Batgirl, though, even working in a background. Nice job!

It's all hand done. I color the base layer for the hair in a medium shade of the color I want it to be. Then I use burn/midtones with a soft brush to shade the darker parts and dodge/midtones with a soft brush to add some highlights. Then I use burn again, this time with a one-pixel hard brush set to burn/highlights to draw in the individual strands of hair. Takes a few minutes, but having a tablet makes it much quicker and easier.
