'60s, definitely. I lived through the '70s, '80s and '90s. For me, the nostalgia factor involves a time I don't remember. smile

If you could time travel, would you rather visit the 17th, 18th, or 19th century?

17th century, although it's probably smellier than the others, it's the least like our own time. Might depend on the country, though... 17th century Italy, 19th century USA.

Would you rather spend an hour as a passenger in a fighter jet or a submarine?

Inherent superpowers - we all know that devices aren't enough for Legion membership

I'd prefer a multi-volume novel, but I'll take a song. Better chance of being on the radio.

Would you rather have someone adapt your life into a TV series or a feature film?

TV series ... ongoing and going and going ... until all the actors age WAY out of what they're playing

after doing some Googling:

Quote
But there also appeared, unbidden, a string of superpatriotic volunteer organizations dedicated to spreading propaganda and to discovering alleged traitors, saboteurs, and slackers. The most influential of these groups were the National Security League and the National Protective Association. The Boy Spies of America, the Sedition Slammers, and the Terrible Threateners had more picturesque names but were less powerful. The volunteer groups carried patriotism to excess and were actually often responsible for the greatest violations of civil liberties, although the government made no real attempt to discourage or limit their activities. As a result, force became the order of the day, and the government never regained control of the explosive situation.

Sedition Slammers as they have a less stupid name. All things being equal...

Let's go with dark chocolate, as it's easier to share at my job (and I don't like chocolate too much)

The Roundtable. To be an officially recognized knight (which means everyone addresses me as "Sir") and have the sanction of the king . . . cool. (Though I don't think I'd care to go on the Holy Grail quest.)

Would you rather hang out with Huckleberry Finn or Oliver Twist?
