Coffee is STILL my friend

I slept early last night

My cat Belinda had two upsetting days in a row.

On Monday, 4 people "invaded" the apartment in order to use the bathroom. These were my nieces and nephew before making the trip home to Rhode Island. She wasn't so upset that she did not eat her wet food I put out when I got in.

On Tuesday, a strange cat was in her hallway. When my 2nd floor neighbor came in last night, a neighborhood cat came in the door with him. He thought it might be Belinda (he has never seen her). Belinda saw this strange cat and started to get very upset. I manage to keep her in the apartment. My neighbor escorted the cat out.

Poor Belinda.

One of our dogs is like that when it rains. She will hide in a corner and stare out the window, trembling.

As the whole world has gone the way of k-cups and Kuerig machines, I've gone back the other way and make pots of coffee on the weekends. It just smells better.

I really like the taste of a good dark beer.

I'm not sure the grocery store's 10 for $10 get the 11th item free is a good deal for me. I ate three king sized frozen Snickers Bars and a bag of M&M's just today. Oh, and a small salad.

My morning coffee is making me shake.

Oh! That reminds me, I made a pot of coffee. Hope it's still hot.


eh, looks like I only thought I'd made a pot of coffee. So the good news, it didn't get cold.

The bank I am in has a long and slow-moving line...

I am currently engaged in tactical warfare with a cockroach in my bedroom.

I hope it's not a flying cockroach!

It was, but the battle had ended and the foe is vanquished...

This morning coming out of the subway, I saw a cockroach on the sidewalk. I was surprised to see one out in the daylight.

There are teeny cockroaches in my office. They come out at night.

Vampire roaches. Hate those.

Sprocking bloodsucking roaches... that's what the one crawling on my cheek must have been trying to do...

So, I am planning to see both Ghostbusters and Star Trek this weekend. I am not sure which to see first. It will probably be Star Trek

I am having trouble learning negatives in French

Wiggle your head left and right and you'll have it conquered. Or just add "pas" after every verb. Mostly it will probably be wrong but they'll think you're so cute for trying, you'll just want to hang with the ineptness.
