I've never been to Seattle. I've only to the West Coast twice, both times to California.

When we were there, we wasted a ridiculous sum riding the giant Ferris wheel. Didn't get to the Space Needle, though.

I took a train cross country to Seattle. I did ride the monorail to the Space Needle. My favorite part was the Under Seattle tour.

I love rail travel. I've taken the train from Boston to Washington, DC, and from Boston to Toledo (with a bus connection to Detroit). I wish it were an option here. The only Amtrak line through Houston runs from New Orleans to Los Angeles. There is also a bus link with a line to Chicago.

What annoys me the most about her is that, for all her "rebellious" posturing, she's just another spoiled showbiz brat who jumps through the standard music industry hoops.
That, and her singing voice -- she always sounds like she's drunk and/or stoned.
