I've always assumed the "hero" in front of sandwich has to do with it being heroic in size.

One of the cutest fanfics I read back in the day was Jughead paired with Betty. I don't have it bookmarked, alas.

I would think most Archie fanfic would be about Betty & Veronica. Although I suppose that would be more slashfic.

Romantic or not, I'm all in favor of stories where Betty & Veronica both figure out that they can do way better than Archie.

Both Betty and Veronica are not Riverdale natives. Both moved there. This is contradicted by the Lil Archie stories.

I actually preferred the Lil Archie stores to the regular stories when I was younger.

Keep up with what I've been watching lately!

I believe Lil Archie's friend Ambrose once appeared in an adult Archie story.

Archie is not an adult. He is a teenager.

I was referring to a story set when he was already an adult.

What's wrong with the local Riverdale girls? Is Archie basically saying he's too good for Riverdale? Is the fact he's been trapped there since the 1940s, with those feelings, a sign that it's only a matter of time before his breakdown?

Why do I have a feeling that Rod Serling is going to pop out at the end of an Archie comic one day?

I'm sure that Rod Serling, when he was alive, had better things to do than lurk around the teenage girls of Riverdale, waiting to "pop out" (which sounds extra dodgy).

I can't think of what those things could be for some reason, but I'm sure he's not Terry Long...or is he...

When I was little, I thought Liberace's name was Liver Archie.

I remember learning to spell rendezvous as a kid, and thinking how weird the pronunciation was.

The word that tripped me up was awry. I thought it was pronounced "orry." I had heard the word awry, but I did not connect it to A-W-R-Y.

I was able to connect Pariah with the word during a spelling bee.

Right now, I'm working in pretty much the biggest organization I've worked for since I left public service in 2006. It can be a little unnerving going into the MS Outlook address book and seeing how many people have the same name I do.

Also, I really wish they'd stop "improving" Outlook. Every time they do I get another hundred gray hairs. scream

That's Microsoft for you. They "improve" something by making it harder to use.
