There's a program on public radio called "Living on Earth", which I find to be the most pretentious, condescending public radio show I've ever heard, which is really saying something!
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

Those people who think they are perfect are really annoying to those of us who are.
(in typing that I almost made a typo. Good thing I noticed it before hitting send.)

Someday, I will post all day and not need to go back and edit anything.
This will happen right before the flying pigs show up with my check for 10 million dollars.

Talking of flying barnyard animals, here is a joke I heard as a kid.
When was beef the highest? When the cow jumped over the moon.

Condescending flying pigs are worse than condescending people.

If flying pigs are condensing above you, you may want to get off the street.

"Pigs in Space" was always one of my favorite segments of The Muppet Show.

I loved "Pigs in Space," too, EDE.
Another favorite of mine were the scientific mishaps of Dr. Bunsen Honeydew and his assistant Beaker. I particularly remember one sketch where Dr. Honeydew cloned Beaker and the clones ran amuck in the theater.

Someone should write a children's book titled "The Antelope Who Loved Cantaloupe."

I've heard of the Scopes Monkey Trial, but I'm not sure what it's about. Something else else to do with theories of evolution versus religious fundamentalism?

I googled, and three sources have said that the Trial was a "show" trial to test out a law banning the teaching of evolution in state-funded schools. A substitute teacher agreed to stand as defendant. The trial ended with fundamentalist beliefs being ridiculed. http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/monkey-trial-begins

Exile's "Til The Night Closes In" has *show me show me* in the bridge. Also, if you watch the video on YouTube, the stage is covered with what looks like stranded horseshoe crabs. Where's HWW? I bet he could tell us what this means.

You rang?
The song is actually called "Kiss You All Over." I've heard it several times on my classic rock stations recently. (No big surprise: They play the same songs, such as Steve Miller's "Rockin' Me," over and over.)
What stranded horseshoe crabs have to do with it I have no idea. The video I've seen doesn't seem to include those.

Maybe the things onstage are bald Tribbles or early versions of those inflatable noisemakers you smack together to make noise in stadiums...? I'm so lost.
