I do want to note that it is interesting the the expected high score winners, like Joker and Captain Cold didn't make it to the Semi-Finals. I guess different tastes here than on other sites.

I want to apologize for all the delays. For the LSV Idol, I am going to get a co-host to cover for me when I am busy. If any of you are interested, please send me a PM ASAP. May is approaching quickly, and I want to stick to my timeline. LSV Idol will start exactly one month from when we finish this game, but the planning thread will probably be a week in advance.

Final Ten

Rainbow Raider 45 100%
Professor Zoom 43 96%
Pied Piper 42 93%
Trickster 42 93%

Abra Kadabra 40 89%
Golden Glider 40 89%
Gorilla Grodd 40 89%

Weather Wizard 38 84%

Eliminated this Round
Mirror Master II 28 62%
The Top 25 56%

The next round will begin tonight or tomorrow morning.

I think every Idol game that's been played on Legion World has had a slightly offbeat winner (except maybe the JLA one).

Legion Worlders tend to have non-mainstream tastes. It's probably what makes us Legion fans. smile

I agree. Titans Idol top 3 were Kole, Flamebird and Wally. Multiverse Legion Idol saw most Adventure Era Legionnaires eliminated before Top25.

I love these types of games on Legion World. So many surprises.

I've run Idols before, but your rules and format are quite different from mine, Emily. I don't mind the delays, though.

I also prefer running Hero Idols to Villain ones. I've been thinking of doing a Justice Society/All-Star Squadron Idol, in fact! (I just won't acronym it... JSA/ASS doesn't sound quite right...)

That would almost complete the super-teams with memberships big enough to warrant their own idols (LSH, Titans, JLA).

Has anyone heard from Dave lately?

Also, any interest in a classic text based RPG?

I have seen Dave on Facebook. He seems to be doing fine, though it has been a week since he posted there. Would you like to PM him?

I enjoy a good text based RPG but it would depend on the time commitment

IB: I saw that he posted today, so I used the Shout Box. If that does not work, I will PM him tomorrow.

Myg: It would largely depend on setting. I'm thinking either 1) Generic Fantasy 2) Medieval Ages or 3) Marvel Universe.

I tried contacting Dave, but received no response, so I have to keep the game moving. I already have another possible delay as I will be out of town Friday-Saturday. I asked a Mod to substitute for me, so hopefully that will work out. We are almost to the Semi-Finals.

Apes do sell covers!

Gorilla Grodd 54 100%
Trickster 52 96%
Professor Zoom 51 94%

Pied Piper 48 89%
Weather Wizard 47 87%

Eliminated this Round
Golden Glider 38 70% <- I am pleasantly surprised how well she did.

Rainbow Raider 32 59%
Abra Kadabra 29 54%

Scale for Top 5 will be changed to 1-5. The Semi-Finals start either tonight or tomorrow evening.

<cry> Those results hurt. Three of my faves. frown On the plus side, Rainbow Raider lasted MUCH longer than I thought he would.

Low numbers for both Trickster and Pied Piper who both had their spells as almost good guys! Not villainy enough! smile Weather Wizard nabbed his brother's invention, so he's not in the same class (despite nice visual effects) as Grodd and Zoom.
