I prefer dark chocolate.

Dark is good, but I love milk chocolate.

My mom prefers milk chocolate too. Blaze also prefers dark.

My mother and The Boyfriend both prefer dark.

We should talk about white chocolate.

J'adore white chocolate.

Chocolate is great!

One of my favorite desserts that my mom made was lemon meringue cake. It was a chocolate layer cake with the lemon and meringue on top. Although mom could not get the meringue right. Instead of being fluffy and light, hers was flat and would slide off the lemon.

Still lemon and chocolate go well together. I learned that when , as a kid, I was swimming in a neighbors pool. The neighbor came out with chocolate chip cookies and lemonade for us kids. I thought "lemonade with chocolate chip cookies? You need milk with chocolate chip cookies" But as I had a cookie and drank the lemonade I was "Hey! this is great!"

Besides lemon and chocolate, orange and chocolate is a good combination too.

I prefer lemon & ginger or lemon & mint, personally.

I mostly agree with Sandra Boynton that White chocolate is kind of like chewing on a piece of paper. Though there was a local candy-maker here for awhile that made a really nice White chocolate bark with chopped, roasted hazelnuts. Their stuff was always super-fresh, which is why it won my heart. I don't know if they're still in business today.

Lemon and mint sounds divine.

I'm partial to peaches myself. I had a peach bellini the other day. Oh, nirvana.

Peaches was the name of Buddy Sorrell's wife on the old Dick Van Dyke show.

There was a joke I read about Dick Van Dyke being a stage name, for a man whose real name was Penis van Lesbian.

Buddy's wife was Pickles, not Peaches. Her name was actually Fiona, but, as she explained, all the girls on her block called Fiona went by Pickles. She was the only Fiona on her block.

I like pickle relish on my hotdogs. Sometimes I will put it on nachos, too.

The sketch comedy TV show SCTV's whiter-than-whitebread harmony group Five Neat Guys had a song called "Put Some Extra Relish on My Hot Dog."

I used to have a roommate whose Siamese cat was named Pickles. mr_cleome remembered that, and when our local co-op created a cat mascot he suggested that name in their contest-- and won!

Don't be embarrassed, Quis. Either name would have been odd.

And both pickles and peaches are quite delicious!
