Rocky had to screen the scantily-clad waitstaff first. Make sure they were buff enough wink

Speaking of olfactory matters, I'm down in the kitchen fixing a nice pot of tea, and it looks like someone finally polished off the last of the lasagna last night.

sigh

I guess that means it's time for me to book my flight back home. I'll do all these brunch dishes first, though. It's only right.

I just checked with the kitchen, and a new batch of lasagna is coming up!

Three batches, actually. One is vegetarian, another beef, and yet another is beef AND tuna!

The actual lasagna I made (in RL) for Easter was with ground turkey.

Naturally, the comely, scantily-clad cooking staff will make such a lasagna as well.

I especially love how this scantily-clad staff bends down to pick things up. So... graceful. So... mesmerizing.

I don't eat beef myself. After all, we don't have mammals on my planet. wink

Apparently it was quite the thing in the late 1950s and early 60s to have a drink called a Bullshot. Beef broth plus vodka in a glass.

shake

Maybe I'll just make everyone some more tea.

I agree - tea would be welcome

And I'm feeling peckish so a biscuit or two wouldn't hurt

I've been longing for weeks to try this recipe for "icebox" cookies with cranberries and pistachios, but just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe this will finally be the big weekend...

Meanwhile, there's some pretty good jasmine "pearl" tea I could fix.

Fortunately, our larder is well-stocked here at the Rookery. Daniel, if you would be so kind as to put on a pot of Darjeeling and see about getting some of those other things made? Thank you.

Well, I'm back for another visit! Looks like Daniel has the week off to film his new hot Yoga instruction video. Still...

If anyone has a stepladder handy, I'll put the rest of the clean cookware away in a jiffy!
