When we are missing one of the men in our choir, we have a special name for each one. For example, when Tony is absent, we are atonal. One of the wittier gents (not as witty as I, of course  ) was very excited to have come up with one for a fellow named Abel. He was so proud of "unAbel." I smiled, blinked and said "disAbeled." Back in 2007 Russell Crowe axed the cheerleaders from his rugby club. He felt that the outfits weren't appropriate.
