I think there's loads of kindness. Getting rid of all the greedy, lying [insert expletive of your choice 'cause I'm kind that way] would enable that kindness to drive us forward, instead of the way things are.

World Works games was the name of a cardstock modelling company. They'd design low cost sci fi, urban and fantasy terrain for wargaming. Cheap and much less annoying if you don't get something right first time.

In Monopoly, the utilities are the Water Works and the Electric Company. When I was a kid I would always sing The Electric Company theme when I landed on the latter.

I always wanted to use the top hat as my playing piece in Monopoly. I liked hats, and top hats were cool.

Top Hat is probably the best-known Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movie, but I like The Gay Divorcee and Roberta better.

On Spike Jones's parody of those old "How To Enjoy Your Hi-Fi" LPs, the drums are so loud for his rendition of "Roberta" that you can barely hear the melody without getting super-close to the speakers.

I've always been partial to the electric guitar myself.
Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

I've spent a good bit of the last few days singing. I've also rung a few handbells. No guitars, though.

There was a Jughead story before where he became a great singer as long as he was in an enclosed space. He took to singing with a bucket on his head.

In the latest issue of Jughead, Jughead is outed as being asexual.

I believe when I was a kid I actually thought the idiom about "carrying a tune in a bucket" had something to do with the fact that people tended to sound better with buckets on their head (similar to singing in the shower).

Hmmm.... Apparently you shared that belief with an author of a Jughead comic book.

Jeff Lynne's father once showed him how you can get a rock-and-roll echo effect by singing into a sewage tunnel.
