It might be wise to buy a new pack of cards.

Ibby picked a bad time to launch his "Play Virtual Legion World Poker with real money!" thread.

I'm sure it's particularly useful for playing Old Maid or Hearts!

I had a theory that the song "Solitaire" (originally by Neil Sedaka, but covered most famously by the Carpenters) had a hidden meaning, but I think it was just about a lonely man after all.

Solitaire may also refer to any piece of jewelry containing a single diamond.

I have a lot of it coming up this weekend. We have services with choir on Thursday night, Friday afternoon, Saturday night, and Sunday morning.

So, Yesterday morning it was snowing. When my alarm clock woke me up at 5:30 wanting her breakfast, I called the snow line. The message said that the office was closed. OH Boy! I went back to bed. Got up around 8:30, had breakfast, watched 3 episodes of American Horror Story: Coven. When I saw it wasn't snowing any more, I went out and shoveled the sidewalk. As I shoveled, I thought "Hmmm.... this isn't so bad."
When I got in (a little after noon) I tried the snow line again. Oh we are open. We only had a 2 hour delay. I then spoke to my boss and told her I was on my way in. Took a quick shower and got in a little after 1.
Apparently others got the office closed message too. My boss said not to worry about it as it wasn't my fault.

Last year Blaze and I went to the beach for the Holy Week.
It was not a very holy way to spend it...

I'm sure you enjoyed it.
This happens to be my Saturday to work. I have no singing till the Vigil on Saturday evening, so I decided not to change my schedule. We'll see if that works.

Congrats.
How long can you stay in one position without cramp/pains? I was watching a movie a while ago on the couch. Two hours later...ouch moving my neck. I was going to say there was stiffness, but it wasn't that sort of film. That's new I thought. My second thought was if I would have to adopt a theatrical limp to go with my odd neck positioning.

An early manuscript version has a barely readable addition of "...and a neck brace."
