Sweet! I wasn't sure whether it was Plo Koon or Ki Adi Mundi so I took a guess. What alien species from another movie is seen as a member of the Senate in The Phantom Menace?

New York it is!
Since Stalgie posted it first, he wins. Sorry, Thoth; if it's any comfort, Lucas did specify a cabbie, like you said. Better luck with Stalgie's question. I hope Santa brings me a first aid kit, 'cause I was sniped! A cabbie too, and nothing to show for it! Gah!

Okay, what character from the original trilogy actually had his/her first appearance occur elsewhere prior to showing up in one of the actual films? Where did he/she first appear?

Was it Bobba Fett who popped up in the Christmas Special?

And the appearance was in a short animated sequence that appeared within the special, for any who didn't know.

Yeah, but it's "Boba" Fett and the "Holiday" Special! Over to you, thoth.... So sorry, I was actually confusing it with Bubba Fett, who was a bounty hunter in Deliverance. I didn't know it was the animated sequence. I've only seen some of it ages ago. Thanks for that Darth Pickypuss Right, this is one from a newspaper that's now part of my cat's litter tray (only the highest quality for you guys) Yoda's eyes are based on which person?

Yay! It was Einstein! Something else else to do with them being smart, yet sad I think.
Over to EDE!

Yay! I remembered reading that Yoda's design was meant as a cross between Einstein and someone else, and couldn't remember who the other person was, so I went for Einstein!
New question soon!

Dunno, has he got Bette Davis eyes? Yoda: Look at my collection, you must. Annikin: Oh, you collect jars...that's nice. Yoda: Look closer, you must. Annikin: There's something floating...Gaaah! Yoda: Bette Davis', these are. Annikin: But...but...Master Yoda.. Yoda: Finding the balance in the force myself, I chose >sounds of lightsabers being activated.<

I believe this is an easy one, but:
Why was there confusion about the names of bounty hunters 4-LOM and Zuckuss for a few years after Empire came out?

Guess: the names of the toys didn't match the names in the script?

Yeah, I seem to recall a mix-up in the dollies too. I had the 4-Lom one. Or at least, I had the one I thought was 4-Lom.

Yep, Blacula got it first.
Kenner reversed the names on the action figures. It wasn't until the Expanded Universe stuff started to be codified that the mistake was confirmed. I can actually remember as a kid thinking that "4-LOM" seemed like it should be the name of a droid.

I just thought it was 4-Lobed as a reference to it's brain.

I'm not sure if this question is allowed because it sort of requires knowledge of the toys (so someone let me know if not)...
Q: What was the name of the Ewok who died in Return of the Jedi?
Bonus question in case that one's too hard...
Q: What was the name of the Ewok who mourned him (who also happened to be my favourite out of the toy Ewoks I had as a child)?
