Just in my thoughts today as I heard someone say the word "tense," and it reminded me of the old Ambush Bug joke, "A monster bummer making me tense to the max." For half a second I thought, "Heh... Dev would totally get that" before my memory caught up. A year plus gone, thank you again for having been my friend. "Sam! Your.... Your Brain!"

For those of you not on FaceBook, Dave's wife Jenniffer recently announced the passing of Dave's mother due to Ovarian cancer. Please keep them in your thoughts.

He was one of the good ones. They always seem to go first.

I'm not FB friends with his wife, but she always tags him in her posts, which causes me to see them. It's painful to watch the always ongoing grieving process, but it's also gratifying to see the love that pulls his family through. He definitely left a great legacy of love in his wake. It's quite a jolt, by the way, to look through a list of posters with the highest counts and realize how many of them have passed away.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

I don't see much of any of you anymore. I was so young when I registered here and you guys are a part of my childhood. It hurts every time I think of those that are gone. Lash supported me unconditionally as I went from catfish, gay to trans. Abin was always willing to play with me. YK would send me the most ENCOURAGING PMs. And Dev gave me a second run with posting here. He encouraged my creativity. Part of me will always love you guys.
And to show I bear no ill will, I, too, shall bestow a gift...
