Thanks kenaustin! That's kinda what I thought might be the case, I figured it wouldn't hurt to check though

Have there been any races, colonies or characters introduced over the boots that live on Jupiter's various moons?

I think the Jovian Attack Squids from #260 might have got them.

The most famous resident of the Jovian system is Sugyn, who is listed as being from Ganymede, although I always thought it would make more sense if he was from Callisto, since Callisto's features are named after Nordic mythology (Asgard, Valhalla, etc.) and thus would be the nature home for space-vikings.
As I recall the Persuader is under contract to murder the Governor of Jupiter in his first appearance.
Besides the Jovian Attack Squid, other fauna native to the system include the Jovian Mastodon and the Camelephant.

Hm, I wonder where the Gov of Jupiter lives? I've assumed no one lives on Jupiter proper but who knows what kind of crazy tech the 31st century has that could make the main planet a viable location.

Yeah, Jupiter itself is probably the least promising place for colonization in the solar system. Even Cloud City-style atmosphere mining would be freakishly dangerous there compared to the other gas giants.

Incidentally, given the presence of subsurface oceans on Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa, the Jovian Attack Squid actually kind of makes sense!

In a version of the DC Heroes role playing game Saturn Girl is listed with a power called Absorption Field. I can't find the power description anywhere. Does anyone know what it does or what the name of it was changed to in a latter edition? If you have the power in your Legion library could you write the description out for me?

Saturn Girl Absorption Field:6
It's not a new power for the LoSH rulebooks.
So, from the edition with the Perez cover...
Link: STR Range: Normal Type: Automatic Base Cost: 10
Absorption field allows the character to absorb energy from Mental Attack. The RAPs are added to the Resistance Value against any Mental Attack. The Absorption Field protects one volume per RAP.
Parts of the field may be lowered so that attacks may be made out of the field, but then there is a chance that attacks may come in through the opening. The Absorption Field remains stationary and can be created up to a distance equal to the RAPs of the power.
A quick look online suggests that it may have become Mind Field, but I'd have to check further.

At what point in time (original series) did Duo Damsel and Bouncing Boy start training students for the Legion Academy? Issue # would be great.

Chuck was training students all the way back to the Academy's first appearance in Adventure 371. He was the replacement tutor for Karate Kid.
I'm struggling to think of Lu as Academy Instructor before #304. I think they were still shown as reservists only in the Darkseid saga, rather than with the Academy at that time.

Was a connection between the Sklarrian Raiders and Stealth of LEGION ever firmly established? I believe Stealth was born on the planet Gryx. How are Gryx and Sklar connected, if at all?

Have the Legionnaires' home planets ever been mapped out in relation to our actual galaxy? I'd kill to see that! Anyone?

Oohhh, interesting. I was hoping for a bit more detail on where Legionnaire homeworlds are relative to Earth, but I'll take it!
Thanks, LL.

Fanzine also has a hilarious spoof called "The Legion of Screwed-Up People," written by LW's own Chaim Mattis Keller.

"I even like his monkey!" Too bad it ended with John Gray getting away in one piece, but you can't have everything. Just imagine the excitement if there was a sequel with Shadow Lass, Earth Man, and Mon-El onstage.

Retroboot post-breakup Colossal Boy and Chameleon Girl would also have really packed the studio with gawkers, I bet. All right. Now I'm starting to scare myself. Just forget that you ever saw this, okay?

A lot of characters and relationships were ruined in that last run... ugh.

Thanks for the kind words on that old Fanzing story of mine! I know I haven't posted here much recently, with the Legion not being published anymore, but I still peek in every so often, it's nice to see people enjoying my writing.

I'm feeling grumpy and nitpicky today, so... Help me out, please. Has Cham ever had yellow skin, for any reason other than coloring errors? Has Phantom Girl ever worn braids instead of pigtails? Saw this in somebody's fic and went , though the story itself was still quite good.
