Not to mention the United States and Brazil (planned capital cities) and Canada (on the border between "English Canada" and "French Canada").

At a few different times in my life, in more than one city, I've frequented sing-along piano bars. The bars I once frequented are both out of business.

Karaoke is popular, if something of a niche, here; however, the piano bars paired live music with group singing. Group singing is something rarely encountered as an adult in the United States outside of church and one song at birthday parties.

Every fall our church has a ministries fair to recruit new people to participate in the various ministries of the parish. I always bake a batch of my famous Toll House Cookies for the choir booth, complete with a sign that says that if singers join the choir, they will get some of said cookies for Christmas. Every year I give a little bag of them to each chorister. Our organist/choirmaster especially likes that. I'm the tenor who bakes cookies.

I've sung in the church choir with which I sing for 13 years. I am currently its third longest-serving chorister, and its second longest-serving tenor.

Cool.

My friend, who has taken voice lessons, said I am a bass. At the time I was surprised as my voice was not that bad. I have learned to deepen it while speaking though.

Sometimes when my friends call me, they can't tell if it is me or Blaze answering the phonem

It took me a while for my voice to change, but when it did, it dropped several octaves pretty rapidly!

My voice cracked rather dramatically while singing a hymn in church (Fortunately, I was in the congregation. I hadn't started singing in the choir yet). Still, I started it as a treble and ended it as a tenor. smile

I know a guy who has almost no body hair, even in his legs. Even here that is pretty rare.

I have little hair on my head, so I shave it every other day.

I shave my facial hair every week, unless I have a client meeting. Sigh I need to shave later.
