Does this character's unusual characteristic have to do with reincarnation or rebirth?

My character is not Lori Lemaris, nor a supporting character of Superman.
This character's unusual characteristic has nothing to do with reincarnation or rebirth.
I'm thinking of a DC Character who --it would be a bit of a stretch to think of as a superhero --has some unusual characteristics, but probably nothing we'd consider to be super-powers --is not native to earth --not typically depicted as part of a team or organization, as we define those terms --is not male --is not X'al (or X'hal) --is not part of a "universal" peecekeeping / lawkeeping force --would not be able to pass for a normal human being, even if normally clothed --does not typically appear in stories set in the 30th/31st centuries --does NOT come from a planet/planetoid/asteroid which we know exists in real life --does appear in stories set in the 20th/21st Century --is not a villain --comes from another planet in space (as opposed to another dimension or something like that)--I'm pretty sure --is not able to fly under their own power --appeared prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths, and was native to Earth 1 --hasn't appeared in the Omega Men series, as far as I know --never had their own series or backup series --looks a lot like a humanoid human being --usually has nothing to do with Green Lanterns, except for at least one version who specifically didn't like Green Lanterns --has an unusual skin color --has died --is a supporting cast member to a member of the pre-Crisis JLA, but not Superman --is not Zook or Lori Lemaris --has an unusual characteristic that has nothing to do with reincarnation or rebirth

Is the character a supporting character of one of the original seven JLAers (Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter)?

My character is not a supporting character of Batman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, or any of the seven original Pre-Crisis JLA members.
I'm not aware of any situation where the character has faced a supervillain, (especially if we keep the same definitions that say that this character is not a superhero).
I'm thinking of a DC Character who --it would be a bit of a stretch to think of as a superhero --has some unusual characteristics, but probably nothing we'd consider to be super-powers --is not native to earth --not typically depicted as part of a team or organization, as we define those terms --is not male --is not X'al (or X'hal) --is not part of a "universal" peecekeeping / lawkeeping force --would not be able to pass for a normal human being, even if normally clothed --does not typically appear in stories set in the 30th/31st centuries --does NOT come from a planet/planetoid/asteroid which we know exists in real life --does appear in stories set in the 20th/21st Century --is not a villain --comes from another planet in space (as opposed to another dimension or something like that)--I'm pretty sure --is not able to fly under their own power --appeared prior to Crisis on Infinite Earths, and was native to Earth 1 --hasn't appeared in the Omega Men series, as far as I know --never had their own series or backup series --looks a lot like a humanoid human being --usually has nothing to do with Green Lanterns, except for at least one version who specifically didn't like Green Lanterns --has an unusual skin color --has died --is a supporting cast member to a member of the pre-Crisis JLA, but not Superman, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, or any of the original 7 JLA members --is not Zook or Lori Lemaris --has an unusual characteristic that has nothing to do with reincarnation or rebirth --has never faced a supervillain, as far as I know (at least if we use the same definitions that make this character not a superhero)

It is Laethwen, EDE! Good job. She has appeared after COIE, including in a Blackest Night title somewhere along the line, hence a version who didn't like Green Lanterns.
Laethwen, for those who don't know, was an alien princess / love interest of the Atom's, introduced in the Sword of the Atom miniseries. She and her people were stranded on earth. They looked humanoid, except for yellow skin and the fact that they were only six inches tall.
I know there were many who disliked it, but I was a big "Sword of the Atom" fan back in the day, and was disappointed when the concept was abandoned. The series was my first real introduction to Gil Kane.

EDE, Is your character a former professor of psychology and psychiatry who uses a variety of fear-enhancing drugs, toxins, and psychological warfare tactics to exploit the fears and phobias of his adversaries?

No. Has your character ever had a birthday party in a comic? I can't think of one offhand, but it wouldn't surprise me if so. Does your character have super powers? Not normally.

Is your character a hero? No. Is your character a red-head? No. Is your character female? No. Has your character ever ventured into outer space? Hmm... again, I can't think of a specific incident of this character venturing into outer space, but it also wouldn't surprise me if this character had. It's not a normal modus operandi, however.
