Woo-hoo! That was an extremely challenging logic puzzle. I really spent far more time than I should have pouring over each guess and trying to see what I could positively identify, as I had very little idea from my memory. Both of your clues ending up being essential, EDE. I actually had another guess almost ready to go until I saw that it gave Brainy 11 votes instead of 10, then it was going through it again with a fine-tooth comb until I saw that I could swap Wildfire from one list for both Lightning Lass and either Ultra Boy OR Shrinking Violet, which told me etc etc blah blah blah, and at the end I just had to guess which list to put Sun Boy and Invisible Kid into (since ALL of our previous guesses had them both with Brainy, there was no way to distinguish). I figured Jacques was probably still in grateful to / in awe of Brainy for giving him his powers.

Aaaanyway, I'll get another question up here soon...

7-11 ran a promotion in 1973, releasing 60 limited edition cups representing different DCU characters. Eight Legionnaires and two honoraries were featured on cups.

I tried to slyly hint at it with "common creative concept" as well.

I just searched ebay for these cups and saw some of the answers, though they are ones that I had already guessed. I'd never heard of them before. That Lois Lane one is crazy!

While you may have just learned they existed, you're hip to who the marketable Legionnaires were, Xben! Your answer is correct!

The promotion is an epic idea, though some of the choices are headscratchers. Not sure how a kid would feel if they were handed a cup with Pa Kent on it.

I'm just amazed that a character like Wildcat was even known the general comic book reading public. I guess maybe Conway's All-Star comic was out by then?

Anyway, I feel weirdly tempted to try to buy these things on ebay for about $10 each, though I actually feel that's ridiculous.

A lot of the JSA/All Stars got cup releases, I believe for that reason or recent crossovers. Very different period on the character landscape, but nice advertising for the Legion and other properties that weren't the JLA.

I don't think I'm likely to do it. Partly because it seems like a ludicrous thing to spend money on. But also because looking at the pictures, a lot of the art on the cups are pictures easily found elsewhere.

Anyway, my question:

When we think of the Adventure-Era Legion, we generally think of 27 regular Legionnaires (from the founders to the last members to join, Timber Wolf and Chemical King).

However, I can think of at least 13 (possibly 14) other characters who were considered in one way or another to be members of the Legion of Super-Heroes during this time. I'm counting evidence presented on covers. Name all the characters.

(I'm a little worried that maybe I've missed one or more on this one, but I'm giving it a go)
