I had never heard of fumetti till the Ibby and Stalgie series. I like anything in which I get to be played by NPH. smile

Lash also got me into making fumettis, while EDE's post about his dream of the Ibby and Stalgie adventures inspired me to suggest that we make it a reality. Stalgie acted on that reality, and now we have had Blaze, Rocky, cleome and EDE all guest star in our fumettis smile

Making those fumettis really relaxes me! I want to think of some more comedic adventures of Ibby and Stalgie soon!

Be careful what you search for tongue

"China India men" tends to turn up a lot of shirtless men.

"Something else else for Everybody" is the ninth album by the band Devo.

I was surprised when I looked up the Wikipedia article on Devo to find what a history they've had. I pretty much just knew them as a goofy group from the early '80s, but I never paid much attention to such things.

I quite like Devo and made sure to see them live when they came around, having missed them in their early days.

Well ahead of the curve in a lot of ways.

Chrissie Hynde, lead singer of the Pretenders, was in a high-school garage band with future members of Devo.

Filipinos have a habit of taking anyone famous with even a drop of Filipino blood and claiming them as our own, never mind if they have never been to the country.

On the flip side, it is not unheard of for Filipinos of different ethnic ancestry - like me - to be viewed as a bit of an outsider.

I lived in Michigan for less than two years. Almost everyone I knew there was a native Michigander or, at least, a Midwesterner. As a Bostonian, I always would have been an outsider there.

When I moved to Texas, I met a few transplanted Michiganders. Invariably, when they would learn that I had briefly lived in their home state, they would immediately embrace me as one of their own.
