I've never tried dim sum before. I've seen it at many Chinese restaurants I've been to, but was too scared to pull the trigger on it.

When the Wonder Twins traveled, Jayna would turn into an eagle and Zan would turn into purple water, which Gleek would carry in a bucket.

I remember that Zan once turned into an ice gondola, which Gleek sat on.

There were some episodes where they tried different things. Zan turning into an ice rocket (steam-powered, of course) was one of the more interesting.

I think Zan's a little bit more versatile than many people give him credit for.

Zan's powers were inconsistent from cartoon to cartoon. He was shown turning into a typhoon and just about anything you can imagine made of ice, not to mention gelatine dessert. And then there are times they just portrayed him as turning into various quantities of water.

I'm trying to remember whether his JLU counterpart could turn into ice or steam. Water, definitely.

Zan's self-liquefying powers might come in handy for unclogging drains, although it would probably be very unpleasant for him.

Zan was not the first character in a Hanna-Barbera cartoon with the power to turn into water. There was a late '60s cartoon about a rock band who were also super-heroes called The Impossibles, which included Fluid Man.

Water is associated with ice. In the world of Avatar: The Last Airbender, those who can control water can also control ice.

I liked the first Avatar series, but Legend of Korra didn't do anything for me.

I preferred the Aang series to Korra, but I still liked Korra.

I liked the broader, more overarching storytelling in Aang though.

My first avatar I used when I joined LW ten years ago was actually of Loser Lad. I then switched to my favorite Legionnaire, Cosmic Boy, then Polar Boy, then a pic of Rocky.

My avatars have included Stealth from L.E.G.I.O.N., Dream Girl, the bunny with a pancake on its head, Sensor Girl, and Shadow Lass, the last of which is probably here to stay.

My first few avatars were various pictures of Cosmic Boy, then a briefly sported one of the Gillman from Creature from the Black Lagoon, and my current avatar is what I envision Nostalgia Lad to look like in the LMB-verse.

Lash drew the one I've used for the last several years. Once Lash draws you, that pretty much settles it. grin
