We know who they are. And we even still like them. But let's face it: they're all terrible and they deserve to be ridiculed.

Take for example, the iconic LMBer Dev Em. All around great guy, awesome friend and fun person to be around. By spending more time on facebook than LW, Dev has slipped into a terrible routine of deviant porn, taco bell and flatulence. I asked him lately what he was up to, and he told me he spent an entire weekend watching a CSI Marathon. CSI? CSfuckingI?!! You might as well gouge your eyes out with your penis!

Dev needs to get back to LW ASAP.

(PS - I made up the CSI story)

Not all of us can do as you suggest as an alternative to watching CSI.

If I could gouge my eyes out with my penis, watching tv would be about the last thing I'd have time for.

But if he's not here, how will he read this?

We should all share this on Facebook so it goes viral and reaches him!

I don't know about them being terrible or deserving to be ridiculed, but I certainly wouldn't mind Dev, Conjure Lass, Spellbinder, Beagz, Sketch Lad, Cali, or any number of others popping in here on LW more often. Thanks to FB, we know they are all well. They just need to bring more of their awesomeness to LW.

Jeez if that's your rant against Dev, I can't wait to see what you have to say about Kent.

I know for Mattropolis in particular, laptop/computer access is the issue. Facebook is so easy with the phone APP and all.

I suspect the lack of a current LSH book has not helped to fuel interest in posting to a LSH-centric MB either.

Whatever the case, it's real sad bro when pals no longer post.

Alas poor Kent! Poisoned by the never ending stream of amatuer political thought on FB, he dropped off the grid for some time, becoming addicted to McDonald's fish filet sandwiches. Recently he reemerged as a member of the Somali Pirates, though I can't tell if thats a terrorist organization or soccer team.

Don't tell Kent but I hear the government has put mind controlling nanotech in McDonald's fish filet sandwiches! Having consumed thousands of these sandwiches, he's now pretty much a government controlled robot.

For *which* government?? He could be eating them all North of the 49th Parallel!!!

First he's a Somali pirate, then he's working for North Korea... I smell a conspiracy!

Or maybe I just smell some overcooked McDonald's Fish Fillet sandwiches.

I think maybe "overcooked" and "McDonald's Fish Fillet" might be a redundancy.


I'm at the age that the older generation has now all grabbed that last bus and the cousins see less and less of each other as they've now become the grand (and great grand) generation. We're not so much a culture anymore that celebrates the ancestors. We're more about the here and now and the next.


Such in all things I suppose until a new spirit gives reason to reacquaint.

What's funny is with all the shenanigans on Kent's Facebook wall over this, its ironically had the opposite effect and more people are posting there (Now Batisita's even joined in). That Kent's a crafty one.

He's not on FB that I'm aware, but I'd really like to see Lad Boy pop in now and then. His posts are always so--interesting!
