I'm so proud of everyone! [wipes tear]

(But I still don't like Loverboy.)

Mine too.

Who is Loverboy?

I guessed that from the context. I am fairly clueless about popular music.

Perhaps you could ask, what are Loverboy's most famous songs.

Of course, the reason I'm fairly clueless about most modern popular music is that I mostly don't care for it.

"And knowing is half the battle" was the catchphrase always used at the end of every animated "G.I. Joe" Public Service Ad in the 1980s.

Did you like the live action G.I. Joe films, Fanfie?

I never saw them. I did like the idea of Adrienne Palicki playing my favorite Joe, Lady Jaye, but in the end I just decided not to watch either movie.

Many (most?) of those public service announcements featured the voice acting of young Jimmy Keegan, who these days is the drummer with Spock's Beard!

Here's one of the groovier tracks from their last album:

The band's name is a reference to the "Mirror, Mirror" episode of "Star Trek", and comes from an early description of the band's music as sounding like it was "from an alternate dimension, like one where Spock has a beard!"

There was also a band called T'Pau, named after the Vulcan matriarch from "Amok Time." The band's big hit was "Heart and Soul."

T'Pau sounds like it would be a great name for a lovely Polynesian island.

In some early Trek episodes, the planet Vulcan is called "Vulcanus". In others, it's natives are referred to as "Vulcanians". Neither lasted.

Vanuatu's Mount Yasur is an active volcano that continually spews lava. Tourists are often brought up near the crater. It's totally on my bucket list.

As much as I hate to admit it, I sometimes get Vanuatu and Tuvalu mixed up.

They sound alike, but are miles apart. Tuvalu I believe is the 2nd least touristed country in the world. Its 9 islands don't offer that much that you can't find elsewhere.

Tuvalu is also a Commonwealth realm, that is, it has the Queen as Head of State.

As do many other countries. I think Commonwealth membership plays a huge part in increasing the number of other countries a citizen can visit without a visa. This makes me very envious. The hassle I have to go through just to apply for a visa - the mountains of paperwork, the additional time off I have to take out of my precious 15 days' annual leave, and the slim chance that I will still NOT be granted a visa. I hate it.
