I won't say "can't stand" but there are things you have to do because you're obligated. So, you might as well go with some enthusiasm, as the alternative makes for a worse time of it.

I've never been a huge fan of family gatherings, mainly because I don't relate to my relatives that much (pun not intended).

I'm spared that with a small family. I've no idea what people do with all the extra presents at Christmas/Birthdays.

Unless the relative who bought it sees it and gets suspicious.

I haven't accepted friend requests from my relatives on Facebook, except for my sister.

I have FB friends who are relatives, colleagues, neighbors, church friends, high school friends, college friends, grad school friends, Legion Worlders, and lots of others.

In one of Richard Scarry's books, he featured characters named Pig Will and Pig Won't. Pig Won't learned to cooperate and became Pig Me Too.

I never would have guessed that Scooby-Doo would have endured so in popularity. It was okay, but I wasn't a big fan.

Ironically, my sexual inclinations turned out more like Velma's (allegedly, allegedly).

When I was little, it confused me that Daphne was a girl, but Daffy Duck was a boy.
