Tee hee Among other things, they wouldn't have let me in back then. Justifying the cost of a Penguin Palace beside the barracks would have been a hard sell. But if you had joined an intelligence acronym or a space programme then the cost would have been easily lost. Rocky: Officer of the Department of Fish & Wildlife. A clear cover story for his real work. Although the fish bit comes in handy at lunchtime.

[grumble] I've been having terrible sinus stuff this summer, even with the allergy meds. Now I think my vertigo is coming back. I keep feeling dizzy just when I wake up and just as I lie down to sleep. Looks like it's time to call the doctor.

Something else else I got over, only to feel knackered over a longer period of decline  So, it was pouring this morning, so I arranged to catch up with someone I hadn't seen in ages in a pub. Local pub with good ale selection (important round here) But sure enough, as I was in there, I could see the weather changing and I started pining to go home and get on with a few things...

Little of that in the bustling megacity that is Metro Manila. Which is why I enjoy my trips to the provinces. Oh, the quiet... the relative lack of air pollution... and the lack of traffic...

Yeah, I think it's important to catch up with people. That applies to a variety of friends/ acquaintances etc. Some connections are more tenuous than others, so enjoyment may vary It would apply to family too I guess, but mine is really small.
