I won't say "can't stand" but there are things you have to do because you're obligated. So, you might as well go with some enthusiasm, as the alternative makes for a worse time of it.

In one of Richard Scarry's books, he featured characters named Pig Will and Pig Won't. Pig Won't learned to cooperate and became Pig Me Too.
